Village Gardens Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Sarnia

Half the staff is rushing not good under preassure. Very cramped place. They made a table of 8 in front of the main door not even in the other room, which in results makes its extremely tight for walking around. A couple was order as the waitress was clean the table off they were sitting at then left the cloth on the table amd walked away. I also noticed in my 30min wait for breakfast a lot more people were leaving due to lack of room or waiting way to long. Notice someone in a booth actually leave before ordering food.

The food is very boring. Just cooked. No spice, herbs, nothing. Bacon cooked way to fast barely cooked through very chewy. Ham was cold even after being cooked. And toast was soggy, which shows food has been sitting for a long time before being served.

Very small place waitresses dont seem good under pressure. Cooks seem to do poorly under pressure and have low experience in cooking. For food to being sitting there also seems to be a lack of communication some...

I just want to start off by saying, that the food is decent most of the time. I just want to point out how disgusted I was with the customer service I received here. I had informed the sever that I was collecting the rewards. I informed the server that I was eligible for a free two egg meal, but instead of allowing me to claim it; she cashed me out at full price. This server absolutely does not know how to treat customer's right. I work in customer service at a well known pizza establishment and this person should not be working here, or in any restaurant for that matter. I seriously hope the owner reads this review, because this individual is quite literally destroying the atmosphere of this business and the want...

Since the management wont reply to my review on their facebook page of how terrible the service was i have no other option than to post it on the web publicly so that everyone can see how terrible this place actually is. Sorry let me rephrase that, how terrible some of the servers they hire are. Great food, awesome atmosphere, terrible service especially by a very rude young lady named monika who served me and my family. Very rude and very inappropriate. Doesn't seem to care about anything except herself. We were recommended to eat at this wonderful establishment when visiting family in town but we were disappointed by our experience due to the server we had that day. Don't think we would ever come back....
