Unfortunately this is my neighborhood DQ. The excitement of having it within walking distance wore off the first time we went there and sadly they have never even come close to redeeming themselves. First of all, they missed the memo on the whole fast food thing, and I’m not talking about once or twice…I’m taking every single time. You can no longer go thru the drive thru unless you’re an upper class citizen because the amount of gas you’ll burn waiting, even if you’re the only one in the drive thru, is simply unaffordable. They have zero clue on how to provide any level of customer service-I’m talking like basic respectful human interactions. And they will let you know that they don’t give a flying f* whether you’re happy or not. They also lack any sort of continuity with their service. The first time I requested a cup of ice water to go along with my overpriced ice cream I was denied unless I forked over about $1.50 for it…mind you on a 35+ day even though it’s actually illegal for them to deny you…but they don’t care as they so eloquently informed me. Second time I was given the smallest cup thy have, because it’s free is what I was told. Guess the $30 I paid for the meals wasn’t enough. Third time I was given a regular sized cup. So weird. Every item I’ve ordered has absolutely been sub par in comparison with every other Dairy Queen and when you request that your food be made with some kind of quality you’re met with hostility and zero resolution. The employees are only concerned with their own personal situations so much so that you’ll stand at the counter for 4 mins while waiting for them to finish watching their videos or whatever they’re looking at on their phones WHILE THEY SEE YOU WAITING. The food safety department would have a lovely time visiting and seeing no one wash their hands or have properly groomed themselves. Honestly this DQ should just close their doors and make room for something where the members of the community aren’t treated like second class citizens that are being a nuisance by frequenting the business and spending their hard earned money. After my last visit I will surely never spend...
Read morei am so dissapointed of how I get treated of your staff we encountered this afternoon april 16, around 530pm
we ordered 2 ice cream cones, one is with choc dip, an oreo blizzard, a chicken fry-ring basket, and 1 order of regular fries. We checked the bag and noticed that we only got small fries on the side with the onion rings. we went back and asked if this was the regular fries I ordered. they asked me to show them the box and they said they put the medium fries in the chicken fry-ring basket that's why they gave me a small one on the side. I told them that I cannot have the fries mixed in with the onion rings and is willing to pay to get my medium fries. The first staff that I was dealing with was a little bit accomodating, asked me to gave back the small box and they will put more fries. we already resolved the matter, however, another staff made a comment that next time, I should tell them at the speaker box to separate the fries and onion rings and that now I am getting 2 fries and i can just drive ahead like I am trying to rip them off. It is not my fault that they put the regular fries with the chicken fry-ring box and I even offered to pay to get the regular fries that I initially ordered. The comment was so uncalled for and...
Read moreI have been a loyal DQ customer since 2017, but I have never experienced such unprofessional and rude behavior from a staff member until today. I went to pick up a delivery order and waited patiently for about 30 minutes. After 20 minutes, I politely asked for the estimated time, and a staff member named Theo (likely Filipino) responded with a very disrespectful attitude. Instead of giving me an answer, he said things like “I don’t know, maybe ask the kitchen. You want to try?” — all while he was the one handling the packing and plating. He even yelled at me, saying “I’m not in charge, I don’t know.”
As someone who also works in and manages a kitchen, I fully understand that food can be delayed during busy hours. However, politeness and professionalism should never be compromised. Unfortunately, this experience was completely the opposite.
I will definitely avoid this location moving forward and will be sharing this experience with my...
