This place is scamming people. It's not liable or slander, this is my experience.
I've lived in Evergreen for 10 years. The first DQ opened up just off the end of attridge, and ever since I moved here I would visit, if not frequently, far too often to be consuming fast food. But I LOVED having two double cheeseburgers and a medium blizzard at least monthly if not every second week. And along the way I didn't memorize the price of it, it was never the same due to random deals or who knows what, but one time it's around 14, another its around 12. Not much of a change to tell my brain somethings wrong here.
Then THIS location opened up, "Baltzan DQ." It happens to be beside a pot store i frequent and after a visit to pick up some doobs, I decided some burgers and a blizzard would cap this extravagant outing with a nice cherry on top. So I drove up to the drive thru speaker box at DQ and ordered my usual at a new establishment. When I got to the window the server informed me my order came out to 22 dollars, with change. For two cheeseburgers and a medium blizzard. That's when my brain said, wait a minute, I have a 20, as I usually do sitting here at DQ, and you're asking me to dip into my change tray beside me?! That's the only reason I didn't just pay it without thinking as I usually do with literally everything I buy and consume. But this ONE instance sent alarm bells through my mind. I respectfully said, read my order out to me please, they confirmed what I ordered, and the price was still 22 dollars. I asked if I could get a receipt in the bag; The machine isn't printing today. Now the thought police were rushing through my mind, that's far too many wtfs for me to ignore. I said, that's pretty pricy for two burgers and a cup of ice cream, I renounce my order, have a good day. And that was the last time I ever went back... but not really. For some reason that happening didn't sit right with me, and to give a longwinded nothing-burger of a story finally it's end, I've visited this establishment multiple times since then(four years ago) and they STILL charge at least 20 dollars for that very order, and when I visit my "old faithful" location on Attridge, the price is the usual 12-14$. The only reason I call this a scam, is because I've seen how it works, and know people who do it at other fast food spots. It's hard to explain because I'm an idiot, I just listen to the people who tell me things. And this scam is very easy to pull off when the customer cannot see what is being typed into their cash machines. A LOT can be manipulated if you're not paying attention, and YES it happens a lot more than you might think. And thus establishment has been running this for YEARS. Same people there...

So get this, tonight I go to grab a sea salt toffee fudge blizzard, usually I go to another location but thought I would give this new location a try. Once I get my blizzard it is candy cane over load I mean all I can taste is mint mint mint.... this couldn't be my drink I've never had it like this before??? I go back and the lady working the drive thru argues with me that this is how the drink is supposed to be made and if I want something else I need to pay... what... now I feel like I'm going crazy... once at the window I try to tell her look I think you guys got this drink wrong no where online does any description say candy cane or peppermint. She has me scrolling through my phone to show her and still tells me It's correct and it's a topping that's not listed( no picture online shows candy cane pieces on this blizzard)... I'm stunned, as I go to tell her look I've had this drink before its never tasted like this.. she interrupts me and asks me what blizzard I would like then?... ummm I want the beverage listed here without candy cane... she tells me there will be a wait and to pull off into the Lot and shuts the drive through window before anything else can be said... wow I've never had this kind of experience before... thank you to the young man this lady made bring me my drink on a cold cold night your a cool dude. This lady working the drive through Sunday Dec 19th 2021.... please touch up on how to treat customers and maybe check your recipe closer as I'm sure this drink does not include candy cane or peppermint... dq would not have two peppermint holiday blizzards at the same...
Read moreI ordered a blizzard. There was one car ahead of me. I waited about 5 minutes until the car ahead of me got their order and moved. I wondered if my blizzard would be melted but I know they tip them upside down to ensure that isn't the case. The person serving did not tip my blizzard, stating that he couldn't because it was in two cups because there was a hole in the bottom of the original cup. This was obviously a ridiculous excuse just to not have to make a new blizzard. He knew as well as I did that if he tipped it, it would dump out. I took the blizzard instead of making them make a new one because I am not too picky. I checked the original cup after just for fun and just as I suspected there was no hole. I will go to a different Dairy Queen next time so as not to be lied to and have my...
