Zervos Tavern & BBQ — Restaurant in Saskatoon

Been here once before and it was a totally different experiance. Heres how it went down on July.29 at around 5:30 pm

Walked in the door to sit in lounge, not one greeting, guy behind bar was to busy on his phone, sat down at our seats and waitress brings us menus, Did not say hello or ask if we wanted drinks, guy behind bar is still on his phone, ordered a mojito and shirly temple, mojito was a bit strong but tasty, wifes shirley temple was on par, ordered the charturie ( sorry for spelling ) waitress comes back 10 mins later to tell us they are out of that so settle for dry ribs, 10 mins ribs show up, they were delicious and the bbq sauce was amazing, finished ribs and first drinks, wait 20 mins before i deceided to get our second round myself, guy behind bar still on phone dident even notice me, waited 2 mins to see if he would look up from phone, not a chance, waitress saw me standing there and then asked if we wanted anything, got another mojito and peach belinni, mojito this time was dry, wife gagged from first sip of belini and said it just tasted like white wine, chugged mojito and dident touch belini and waited for waitress to bring bill, 10 mins went by and nothing so walked up to bar to pay, HORRIBLE SERVICE

By the way this whole experiance took 2 hours due to waiting for EVERYTHING

Zervos Tavern is one of the best restaurants—if not the best—I’ve tried so far in Saskatoon. Although the ambiance is divided, with slot machines on the left and a restaurant on the right, what truly amazed me was the fine dining experience.

As someone who has traveled to different countries, I genuinely appreciate good cuisine, and I found some exceptional specialties here. The dried ribs, specifically the lemon and pepper ribs, were absolutely incredible—delicious and perfect as a starter for two. The freshness of the meat is noticeable in every bite.

I also tried a New York-style filet, which was well-prepared and beautifully presented—truly delicious. Another highlight is their cocktails. I ordered a strawberry mojito, and it was a good mojito.

The service was excellent. The gentleman who served us is from Greece, and he is a fantastic host. I will definitely keep coming back to this place. The emotions it awakened in me were intense because the flavors were simply outstanding. It had been years since I had a meal this...

We were served by a classic server who is named Dimitri. The food is hot, fresh, delicious and wonderful to look at and did I mention delicious? Oh yeah, I did. What should be mentioned is that every bite was hot of each of our meals. I ate the Country Fried Chicken Cutlet over top creamy mashed potatoes with Bison Mushroom Gravey smothering this goodliness. A large and hefty serving of broccoli with tops! My love had the NY Steak and it was flame broiled to perfection with a tasty bark.

The indoor decor is warm and inviting and wasn't too loud at 815 on a Saturday evening in this charming and comfortable atmosphere. My partner and I were looking for something different and somewhere new to eat, this wasn't far from home. We will likely be back because we are the types who don't fix what isn't really broken!
