Affordable & Delicious Canadian Chinese 😋
Introduction: In search of a budget-friendly dining experience, we stumbled upon a Chinese restaurant that exceeded our expectations. We opted for the Dinner for 1 B, which included fried shrimp, chicken chow mein, and cheese fries. Each dish was incredibly delicious, and considering the reasonable prices, this Canadian Chinese restaurant proved to be an excellent choice.
Body: The first dish we ordered was fried shrimp, and it was nothing short of delightful. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. The accompanying dipping sauce added a tangy flavor that complemented the shrimp beautifully. It was a delightful start to our meal.
Next, we tried the chicken chow mein, and it did not disappoint. The noodles were stir-fried to perfection, with a medley of colorful vegetables and succulent pieces of chicken. The dish had a harmonious blend of flavors, combining savory and slightly sweet notes. The portion size was generous, making it a satisfying and fulfilling choice.
To complete our meal, we ordered cheese fries as a side dish. The fries were golden and crispy, topped with a generous amount of melted cheese. The combination of the savory fries and gooey cheese was an indulgent treat. It provided a comforting and familiar taste, while still maintaining the essence of Chinese cuisine.
One notable aspect of this Chinese restaurant is its affordability. Despite offering high-quality dishes, the prices were remarkably reasonable. This made it an attractive option for those seeking a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. The portion sizes were also substantial, ensuring that customers left feeling content and satisfied.

Read moreI have been ordering from this restaurant for many years. I have had more than one time a problem with the sweet and sour pork. Each time that I had the complaint it was because the pork was tainted. She doesn't understand what I am saying, she thinks I'm complaining about the fatty pork, which is also not aPleasant dish. But, she does not want to hear me. And I'm sure I'm not the only person to have this problem. However, I do like their food, But when they do not want to hear the customer, I don't think they care about the customer. I have seen the stack of their customer's complaints. I hope they are dealt with better than mine. (I cannot and will not eat here again. *you should listen to what your customers ARE saying, NOT What you think they are saying. Very frustrating!)
Why would a customer order a dish, Complain about it If there wasn't something wrong? (Returned FULL order with only 5-6 pieces of meat that were tasted.) The dish was ordered to be eaten with the other dishes that were ordered, not to come 20 - 30...
Read moreWe were doing our laundry next door at Scottie’s Coin Laundry and decided to drop by here to get something to eat. Our server was super friendly and informative. Ordered the daily special Mushroom Lo Mein ($12) to share, and added chicken ($1.50). The portion was just enough to share between 2 people for a light meal and loved the wok hei flavour in the noodles that not many Asian restaurants in Saskatoon have. Won’t hesitate to be back the next time we’re in the area! Take note that they only accept cash and do not serve food during their lunch break...
