Amazing Food!!!!😋 Called Gold Palace before driving an hour from my trailer to this place. Explained to the owner/ cook on the phone that it was my first time ordering food at the restaurant and that I love real Chinese Food not the Canadianized version. I’m a foodie, love to cook and am a bit of a critique. My meal was outstanding!! Large portion, reasonably priced and delicious !!!!! Ordered Singapore Noodles lots of meat, shrimp and veg, perfectly spiced not too hot with a hint of currie.. yummm. Shrimp with Lobster sauce and steamed rice. Umami, savory minces pork in a delectable gravy with lots of decent sized shrimp, so good. Perfectly crispy flavorful chicken wings!! Great Wonton soup broth was perfect did not need soya sauce and had a large portion of huge, juicey pork Wontons. Salt and pepper pork with onions and peppers soo good. I honestly could not stop eating this food. So worth the drive. I am on holiday and didn’t feel like cooking. What a treat!! Thank- you to Gold Palace!! There is nothing golden about this restaurant. I ordered dinner for 6 plus a few added dishes - $200+. Given it was Christmas Eve and my order was large, I ordered at noon for pick up at 5pm. I get there at 5pm and pay for the order. I am then told it’s not ready. 40 minutes later they call me and hand me one bag. When I questioned if this was my order, they then told me they accidentally gave my order to someone else, but that they are making a replacement order and it will be ready in an hour.
