Such unfriendly staff…rude…out of three parties, of which we were the first to enter the restaurant…we were asked to wait outside in the cold…no one else was asked to wait in the sleety rain…when we stated that it was too cold for us to wait outside…given nasty attitude…that cannot be overlooked…no matter how good the food was supposed to be…and it was average, at best. Standards in Sherbrooke are so much lower than any of the other 4 Canadian cities we have traveled to in the last week…does this town not know how to be welcoming? The finale of this scenario is that the other two parties that came in after us were seated before us and we were still expected to wait…which did not happen and we simply left…disgusting treatment of patrons…clearly felt like we were not wanted there. Do NOT go here unless you enjoy being treated badly!!!! I would like to add that you are truly disgusting and liable for accusations that are false and thrown out into the public after the fact and with no evidence or proof…and no responsibility or accountability for the issues stated with your business that were the root cause of our issues with you…or the fact that I was the only Asian individual and the only person I saw being discriminated against and now you throw accusations of legality in the mix? You have left the land of Harry Potter…as all adults should eventually do…and found yourself in the land of reality and accountability…and that seems to be beyond your abilities to deal with…serve your reheated food from the hands of your incredibly racist and rude employees and be assured that neither I, nor anyone with half a brain cell or dignity would ever cross the threshold of your so bland and mediocre establishment…ridiculous people. It has come to my attention that this post is no longer visible on cafe Aragon’s reviews site…🤣I am not shocked in the least that this establishment has somehow manifested this, but patrons beware as to the deletion of true and honest reviews for this “restaurant”…as the scoring is obviously false and...
Read moreNot that I'm a big breakfast place connoisseur, but this is the best breakfast place I can ever recall eating at. People generally want cozy in a breakfast place, and, like so many special places in quebec, this place has taken the breakfast concept of coziness and turned it into an art form, and made every aspect of the place, from the chairs to the food to the way people serve you, into one facet of a coziness gem. Again, I've rarely had eggs benedict, but I've never had better than here. Oh, I also forgot to hype their Peri-Peri sauce. That also is the best Peri-Peri sauce I have ever had, though in all honesty I had never had any such sauce before arriving in Canada 7 years ago. Nonetheless, it's available for sale from their fridge, and when I return, whenever that may be, I plan to smuggle as much as possible across the border, and sell none of it, and gift it only to the most...
Read moreGood tasty food for a weekend breakfast or brunch. Nice cozy cafe ambiance. As an Indian, I can confirm that the food has taste, and is not bland. Their hollandaise sauce is great. I took pouched eggs on pizza style breakfast, which was tasty. Portion size is good. Strawberry apple slushie was also refreshing. Prices are also reasonable: my pizza egg dish + slushie cost around 25$ + tax . They have vegetarian options also. Pro tip : get their spicy sauce dip (I think homemade from tomato) for 1$ , enough for 2 people to share. Use it along with fried potatoes that comes on your dish. The spicy sauce is actually spicy,...
