Hotel de la Rive Steakhouse & Bar — Restaurant in Sorel-Tracy

So sad that we didn't enjoy this restaurant. Upon arrival we got seated at a beautiful table, the view is incredible. We had a very lovely waitress however the food was just not great. I ordered a rare steak and it was cooked right through. My husband ordered medium rare and same thing. I ordered the chef's butter sauce and there was no taste to it. We came back later in the night as we were staying in the hotel and wanted to get desert. They gave us a menu and told us to order from the room. We called for 30 min before giving up and going back down to get it. 2 pieces of cake and 2 coffee came to 52$ and they tasted like they came out of the freezer. We won't be back to...

We were staying at the hotel also and was told this was a great place to eat. We were able to barely get a reservation in the near empty restaurant because we spoke only english and very few staff did. Others around and after us were waited on before us. We decided on splitting a meal because the prices were high. Ordering meat a specifi way does not work with them. You get wha they serve you. Bread had to be asked for.
