Le Belvédère — Restaurant in Sorel-Tracy

We came here in a Friday night for supper. We came in and there was room to sit without needing a reservation. There were a few empty tables and there was a group on the other side of the room. We sat near the window and received the menu. We ordered drinks, water, an entrée, and our meals. Our verdict: The two cocktails we took were pretty good. We took the watch and the pink lemonade. The drinks were not strong not were they over watered, they were just good. The water was only brought once at the beginning and never refilled during our meal. The entrée was good, we took the Halloumi cheese stick with salsa. This entrée wasn't brought by our waitress but by another young woman. The main meals were maple tuna and chicken strips in a burger. Both meals were without a negative remark, they were delicious and the proportions were very good. The meals were brought by another gentleman and not our waitress. When we finished, since we waited a few minutes without her coming back, we just got up and went to the cash.

Conclusion: the food and drinks are great, but the service can be improved. The waitress wasn't really paying attention to us. She took a while before taking our initial order of the drinks and entrée, didn't come back for water refills, to take away the cocktail drinks after we finished them ( before the main meal), didn't check if the entrée or the food was good or if we needed anything ( after the...

Lots of parking in front of the restaurant it’s a yacht club as well and there’s a hotel there as well.

We went for dinner here it’s a very busy restaurant very loud waitresses rushing around they did advise to make a reservation so we did but we noticed that a lot of people arrived with non and they were able to accommodate them a big outside terrace and lots of seating inside.

Service was rushed a lot was very surprised by that as the reviews were saying the opposite so we ordered wine a glass each as it was still very warm and went for the steak the waitress advised my partner in French and me in English that l make my plate I’m like ok.

Food came quickly and we both looked surprised as the steak wasn’t medium rare so were like oh the waitress meant to have advised is that we cook the steak ourselves the funny thing is that when it’s 38C the last thing you want is more heat all in all the experience was fun steak with vegetables and fries was good cooked ourselves the experience was ok...

Our waiter went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Not only was he attentive and friendly, but he also went out of his way to help us call a cab, speaking French on our behalf since none of us were fluent.
