This little place is quite a gem. It is the restaurant at the golf club in Iroquois. We went there today at suppertime. I wasn't very hungry and neither was my buddy, so I asked if we could order off the kid's menu and we could. I got chicken fingers/fries, milk and ice cream, buddy got spaghetti/garlic bread. We topped it off with a small brownie each. Just perfect!! No sense getting a big meal you can't eat. Also, every Friday night they have a buffet. Roast beef, 2 vegs, 2 other meat dishes, full salad bar and dessert all for $19.99. If you are a small eater you can go just once to the buffet for $9.99. They are sooo accommodating. Had planned a small reunion of friends. Called two days prior and made a reservation for 10 and requested seating outside on the patio. Upon arrival the server was unaware of the reservation, told us if we wanted outdoor seating it would be at individual tables of 4. When we requested then indoor seating with a view of the river, again it would be at tables of 4. If we wanted to sit together we were ushered around the corner with a view of the golf course. From there things picked up. Server (Kay) was pleasant but served non alcoholic beverages in cans and had to be asked for a glass and ice. Menu is basic but a decent selection, food was well prepared and enjoyed by all. We can’t say enough about this restaurant on the waterfront. It’s quiet indoors as it is outdoors during the evenings. We are new to the area and so far this is our go to place. The food is delicious and they offer senior portions. There is always room for dessert! Leah our waitress is very polite and goes above and beyond her duties. Joanne , James and the owner are all fantastic chefs. There are special every day of the week. Give it a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed....
