Sheep's Head Bistro — Restaurant in South Glengarry

From the moment we stepped into this restaurant, we knew we were in for something special. Nestled on a quiet corner across from the water, the place exudes a cozy and welcoming warmth, a reflection of the wonderful owners who make you feel like family from the first greeting. They are some of the kindest people we've had the pleasure of meeting.

Every dish burst with flavor and was so delicious. They have a great selection of vegetrian dishes, which we really appreciated. One of the best meals we've had in a very long time and it's definitely become one of our favourite restaurants. Also, the cocktails were out of this world!

The dessert was a sweet finale that didn’t disappoint. The Peanut Butter Chococale Cheesecake was decadent without being heavy, the perfect end to an already spectacular meal.

Overall, this restaurant isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an experience shaped by amazing food and even more incredible people. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel right at home and leave with a smile on your face, this is it. Place is absolutely the best experience in the cornwall area. Our team was in town for a tradeshow last Wednesday night June 5th and needed a place to eat for dinner. Place was recommended by a local. Called and Riz (owner) answered the phone said yes can fit you on the patio. We arrived and soon after another few people from trade show and they moved table with ours and then 4 other people came in and they joined us and soon we had a group of 10 on the patio.

Food was amazing nice specials menu and drink selections. wine is custom picked by the owner. Service was impeccable. I have never had a restaurant where the owner is so involved, and dedicated to there craft. It shows big time. We essentially had a private dinner event with the head chef/owner serving us and making us feel like family. Words do not say enough about our entire night. Riz and staff on behalf of the Entire Alltrade Equipment crew THANK YOU for a memorable night. I personally will be back. You cannot put a price on the experience. A must try for anyone traveling through or from the area that wants to have a refreshing...

Great place with a small menu . I went for valentines with the girlfriend that evening . They had a special for superbowl Sunday (valentines Monday was booked up) . The special was risotto with arctic char, king crab and tiger shrimp. I remember the shrimp being great and not sure how the king crab was implemented (do they mix it into risotto,?), the arctic char was great, but the risotto was almost like the chef turned around to talk to someone while pouring the salt into the dish. I thought it was just mine , but as the girlfriend also ordered the same dish , she mentioned it was too salty, so I had to tell her I found that too. She ate 10% of it and I managed to get through 70% before the risotto sucked up all the water in my system. All the staff were great and quick with the drink and requests . As usual the everything other than the risotto was perfect , but unfortunately we picked the one dish that didn't turn out .... sadly on a valentines day dinner. I still gave it 4 of 5 only because I know how good this place is when the food...
