Arrowana Restaurant — Restaurant in Sparwood

Went to Arrowana tonight, we have not been in years and apparently ownership had changed from Jimmy. The waitress was nice, yet she gave 3 of our dishes to another table and then realized and brought us two of the plates off of the table of the other patrons 5 minutes later she picked up another one of our dishes at the other patrons table and brought it to us. I refused the dish as I don’t know who’s fingers have touched it or who ate off of it or not. We ordered beef and Brocolli and got mixed vegetables when I asked for beef and Brocolli she quickly ran to the back and added a few pieces of meat and came back with the same mixed veggies and some meat. Terrible experience, when I went to pay she said she was sorry but that if she brought a plate back to the kitchen she would be charged for it, I understand and felt bad but at the same time health and hygiene matter and you should never be given food that’s been at another persons table.on top of this the food was very disappointing. it’s a pity because the food used...

This place serves some of the best North American style Chinese food I've had. It's definitely not traditional Chinese food but it's reminiscent of food court Chinese food in the city, but fresher, tastier, and made with love. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge, such that you can take leftovers home and have them for lunch the next day.

The fried shrimp looked and tasted perfect. It actually looks like how it would be illustrated in an Asian food cartoon or a neopets 2D megapixel picture of food.

Service is good. The chinese food is top notch. YOU HAVE TO TRY THE CRAB WONTONS! (or not, if addictions are common in your family).

Very surprised at the quality of food considering the location. Ginger beef is on par or better than what is available in Calgary. Cooked to order everytime. (so far)

Pros: Chinese food! The steaks as per significant other.
