Jungle Jim's Eatery — Restaurant in St. Anthony

If I could give zero stars I would, we were seated quickly and got our appetizer in a timely manner and then waited over an hour for our meals before walking out. We never had our waitress check in on us, not even for a refill of our drinks or an apology, I even looked out of our booth to signal we wanted someone to check on us and could not see her. They never even realized we left. To top it off the sound echoes horribly, kids screaming and yelling throughout the whole restaurant and it echoes making it worse. First time and last time at this location. We were seated quickly and the waitress came quickly. However, that was the last we saw of her. After waiting 30 minutes with no check in from her, we left. I know staffing is an issue in Newfoundland, but this wait was beyond anything acceptable. A “check in” from her would have gone a long way, at least we would have known we were on her radar.
