Pete's Pizza — Restaurant in St. Catharines

They advertised recently that they had new owners, so I figured I would give it a try again.

Somehow they managed to be worse than the previous owners. They don't have the common condiments anymore (chili flakes, oregano, parmesan etc). They lie about the price, and give extremely small slices.

I got a slice and they didn't even put it in the oven (When I get pizza I usually ask if they can keep it in the oven for extra time because I like it crispier/well done, but I didn't even get the chance to ask lol), then when I asked if they could, I was told that they don't need to, since its fresh. Legitimately the worst pizza I've ever had in my life, it tasted like it was made at 8am that morning and was just sitting there all day. The employee was just sitting there on their phone and looked like they hated being there.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Save the money and go to the LCBO next door and buy a few beers instead, you'll get a lot more out of your money than going to this scam. I have never gotten a single slice of pizza in my life and left it uneaten but I honestly couldn't even finish my "slice" of this undercooked joke of a pie.

Usually I wouldn't care to leave a review since it's just a slice of pizza, but this place was so awful that I feel incredibly passionate to ensure that no one ever goes here again. I wouldn't be surprised if they buy pre-made pizzas from the metro right next to the store, and honestly, if they don't, it would probably be a better option than the...

I had been craving jalepeno poppers all week so I was going to get those and wings. Called to order jalepeno poppers and wings, I specifically asked if I could get two sauces for 1lb of wings, confirmed numerous times. Got there and they said sorry can only do 1 sauce for 2, you can pick one or have them plain with both on the side. Not the biggest deal, but still annoying. I waited a good 15-20 mins passed how long they had told me. The service was minimal and unpleasant. I knew I should’ve checked the bag before leaving but was starving. Got home, opened the bag they gave me 3 burnt jalepeno poppers and 4 burnt mozzarella sticks - the cheese was like plastic it was so hard. I called before even having a chance to check the wings and they said oh sorry we ran out of jalepeno poppers so we substituted and forgot to tell you. I wouldn’t have ordered had I known the one thing I had been looking forward too wasn’t available. Then I got to the wings. They were DRY and HARD as rocks. Not lie. Ordered a medium pizza here yesterday and was very pleased with the result. Great Pizza and service. Pizza is a subjective thing and tastes vary but I found this pizza to be very good. Plenty of toppings, nice sauce and crust plus it was cooked just right. I will be going back for sure in future!

Have been ordering from here since Feb/19. Always had great Pizza but ordered Sat. July 27th and Pizza was just so, so. I hope this was a one-off! Ordered extra cheese and there was barely any cheese on it. It was over cooked and seemed to have been sitting around for awhile even though I picked it up 30 mins. after ordering so, not sure what was going on but was not pleased with the experience.
