Shawarma Point — Restaurant in St. Catharines

So I took the plunge despite the reviews and here is my honest review. I ordered just before close using door dash. I bought the "buy one get one" and the portion sizes were great to the point I can get 4 meals out of the 2 and the rice was not dry like many others have said. However, I was wondering where my salad was? It was under the hot chicken and not separated from the hot food. I don't care how a business does things but NEVER mix the cold food with the hot food. If people wanted to do this they could do it themseleves and this shouldn't have to be requested, like ever. I wasn't happy about having to pick through my salad. This is likely what people meant that the salad was awful or the lettuce was shriveled. Other than that the food was okay and yes it is also true there are some chunks of random pieces of fat in the chicken. At the end of the day I expect to get what I pay for no matter what. Nonetheless, I'll try them one more time and hopefully I can enjoy my salad the next time around and no random pieces of fat in the chicken as these are two things that can be easily fixed and avoided. ordered on uber eats after reading glowing reviews here and was quite disappointed.

barring the fact that our food arrived barely warm (which could be attributed to our delivery driver, so I will not hold it against this place) the food was unexpectedly subpar in both the way it was presented and the quality.

first, I have never ordered a wrap from a shawarma place and had to add toppings myself. we received all additional toppings on the side ($1-1.25 each for pickles, turnips, etc), so we had to add them to our wraps ourselves, which was a soggy and messy endeavour, since I don't think shawarma wraps are meant to be unwrapped.

additionally, the shawarma poutine had zero cheese curds, and the fries were stale. the falafel was far too dense, pretty flavourless, and soggy.

I am really disappointed in this experience. I ordered from here after trying Shelby's hoping to escape their soggy falafel, just to somehow receive worse falafel from an...

This place has drastically gone down hill. New owners. Chicken is never cooked right. Food is usually cold even after being put on grill. Salad is always turning brown. This is such a sad shame from what they first were to what has happened now.

I don't know what has happened but the last 3 out of 5 visits the chicken hasn't been good. Constantly finding myself having to spit out pieces of chewy chicken fat. Which ends up ruining the meal because I'm worried the next bite is going to be the same. I was hoping this was a one off but seems to be common lately. Seems the chicken isn't being cleaned properly of all the excess chicken fat. I don't think anyone ever has said " yumm chewy chicken fat".

Really hope this changes and they go back to spending the time to deliver the deliciousness...
