I went to this little restaurant last year and had the roast beef sandwich and it was so good. Fresh and tasty paired with a nice glass of wine. It was a lovely experience. Sadly, today my experience was far from that. I ordered the roast beef sandwich… The bun was stale, it was pretty tasteless, and there was no hint of the creamy horseradish that they make mention of in their menu. The salad was also bland. When I asked if I could have some salt and pepper the woman at the serving counter looked as though I was completely putting her out. It seems that they don’t have salt and pepper shakers, nor do they have little packets of salt and pepper. The poor attitude was the last draw. I was so put off with not only the tasteless food, but the poor attitude that topped it off I just left my food and drove away. The sandwich, tplus a lemonade and a 15% tip that you pay for before you get your food came to $30. So it had to be quite the turn off for me to pretty much leave $30 on the table. I did take my lemonade with me. I go to Henry of Pelham often to buy wine, and I thought the restaurant was an extension of the winery. I went in to tell them my experience. My understanding now is that it’s independent. Unfortunately it leaves a bad impression for Henry of Pelham. A very unfortunate experience. I would not recommend this for a casual outside...

I’m sure Karen from Henry of Pelham provided you with the story and our name. We are the couple that ordered a pizza. Paid for it. Received a pager (#8) to pick up our pizza when it went off We saw the two pizzas that were ordered before ours delivered to their table and expected ours to be next. After about ten minutes I went up to the window and found the kitchen closed. I knocked on the door, the windows to no answer.
The table that received the two pizzas told us that the server came out and said that they made an extra pizza. And gave it to them.
I was going to be rude and keep your pager and in exchange for my money back and I would return your pager. But that would not be right. So instead I provided my name and phone number in hopes that someone from your restaurant would reach out and at least refund our money. An apology at the least.
Alas, here we are three days later and not even a phone call.
As the subject line states. I’m disappointed. You turned a wonderful date for a couple celebrating our 36...
