As soon as you walk in you will feel the laid back and cool vibes. You’ll also smell the aromas of the incredible food you’re about to eat! They were also very good at handling dietary needs and satisfying a variety of pallets and requests. We enjoyed lunch and also the VIP tour and tasting. Highly recommend!! The highlight of our experience has to be Chloe. Her position is a bartender but she is so much more. She was our hostess with the mostest, our server, our bartender and also our VIP tasting and tour guide! The passion she exudes and knowledge of the business she possesses was inspiring. If you’re looking for someone to promote internally who lives and breathes all that this business is about - promote Chloe. She’s an impressive employee. She even specialized our flights as part of the tasting tour - chosen based on her knowledge and vibe with each of us and bang on. And even have us smaller samples of items we planned to purchase at the store. The food - fantastic! The Cajun blackened chicken was to die for (I’m still alive thankfully) and the truffle fries - you must get these!!! Beautifully seasoned and worth the calories haha The cocktails have clever names and taste amazing. The environment itself is a vibe - the food truck inside and the fun lighting and activities (year long games including washer toss and sand bags inside on Astro turf and outside in the beer garden in the summer) with live music on Saturday evenings! We will be back to enjoy that next time. We also want to give a should it to the Manager, Steph. You can tell that she’s respected by her employees and runs a fun ship! Everyone truly seemed to be enjoying their work. Steph made sure to check in with us a couple of times and really made us feel like VIPs. Thank you! See you all again soon.

First visit to the Blue Lobster Public House and well... My first thoughts are there was quite a bit of confusion going on. First group of four being seated at a table with only three chairs. Not a big deal, then the table seem like a rocking chair lol which we adapted too... Then got our meals but didn't have our forks and knives. Then my friends order drinks and they came in small glass šŸ˜†. But the meals made up for all of that. Been on the hunter for some good fish and chips and really enjoyed the fish nice and crispy and beer batter too yummy nice n crunchy. **Note I had asked to have my fish crispy so if you like fish crispy you best ask.** My wife had the fish chowder at first she was really happy to see actual whole piece in the chowder but there wasn't much to it. One whole scallop, three muscles, and two shrimp? Chowder wasn't thick but she said it tasted okay. The restaurant is a nice atmosphere but the noise level was like no other so if you have eating issues you may want to pass. All in all The service was ok and the Fish N Chips was good but the coleslaw was very weird would most definitely recommend changing it to a traditional creamy slaw.

On our trip through Nova Scotia, we were originally looking for a lobster dinner but ended up at Blue Lobster for fish and chips—and I’m so glad we did. The setup is super cool with an actual food truck inside the restaurant and a brewery in the back. I really wish this place was local because I’d be there all the time. We started with the mussels. I’m usually not a fan, but my buddies each ordered some, so I tried one... then immediately regretted not getting my own. They were that good. Whatever sauce they use is unreal—I could’ve drank it. For dinner, we all got different things. The fish and chips were a solid choice, especially with garlic truffle fries. One buddy had the blackened chicken, which was insanely moist and flavorful. I went for the spicy honey chicken sandwich—and it was the star of the show. I dont know how they got all that flavor in and wasn't dried out. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it beat out every steak and lobster dish we had on the trip. Hands down my favorite stop during the whole trip.

I had heard such great things about Blue Lobster from friends and coworkers and was excited to try, especially after seeing so many great vegetarian options listed on the menu. I called in my order for pick up of three classic smash burgers (sub impossible plant based burger) with three sides of truffle fries. I was told 15 minutes and my order would be ready. When I went to pick it up the I was greeted immediately and asked what my needs were. I stated I was there to pick up my order and she went to get it for me. While she was gone, another employee approached me to ensure I was taken care of, really great service from these two young employees. I was really impressed with them both, as well as the appearance and vibe of the restaurant. When I got home with the order, I unpacked it for my family and we all opened our takeout boxes in excitement, only to be greatly disappointed… the $7 truffle fries we each received, if collectively put together, would not equal the size of a medium fries anywhere else you can get fries from. They might have filled a 1 cup measuring cup - collectively. The burgers tasted excellent but only had one patty each, instead of two. We thought maybe it was because of the substitution to the plant based burger, but when we double checked the menu again, it states that substitution is no extra cost. The bill came to $78 after tax and tip and left us still hungry afterwards. Upon sharing my experience with friends and coworkers, some related to small portions and others said if I ate in things would have been better. Over all, I’m left confused, hungry and disappointed, since I was so hopeful to have found great vegetarian options in town other than a&w and Burger King...

We wanted to go for brunch before heading back to the city after attending a wedding. We arrived 3 minutes before opening and was told the rule was to not allow anyone in before 10am. We were seated near the front door and the decor was amazing! The problems started with the staff still cleaning while we were seated. One server was using a strong glass cleaner on the doors near where we were seated. We had to ask them to open another door but they couldn't find 'the rock' to prop it open. We waited for coffee because, I assume, there was not a fresh pot made for when the doors opened. I ordered a mimosa that was more sparkling wine then juice. It was not well balanced and too strong. Our food was not hot, I asked for butter for the pancakes and was brought cold butter cut from the block. The food was not seasoned at all and the main selling feature for my Big Breakfast plate was the homemade sausage however, it looked like it was cut in half and caused me to question our server to which she said that was standard. When it was time to pay I did tell her that she was great and not her fault that I was unhappy with the food. She looked confused as to what to do. I tipped her and paid but wanted some acknowledgement of the poor experience so asked to speak to a senior staff. I related the same to her and she apologized but did nothing. I did tell her we...
