This museum was more than I expected. We spent a good 2/3 hours there with the kids. The exhibits covers the history of a huge variety of industries in NS. There are many interactive displays, an astounding attention to detail and background explanations. Paul was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, interpreting the mining & steam power exhibit in French for one of the members in our group. We highly recommend this museum if you want to learn more about Nova Scotia and its past and present industries! They have two real trains and one model train set up . But they have much more then just trains . Read moreVisited Saturday July 12th for our first visit. Staff are friendly to greet you at the door and admission is only $8.80 which is a bargain for what you see. We didn’t see anyone else in the museum we had it to ourselves what a hidden gem. Some treasures inside including the oldest steam engine in Canada and manufactured goods from across NS.
