My experience was terrible at this disgusting restaurant. The workers have no manners and are nothing but snotty and ignorant. My boyfriend and I called, asked for any deals they had on getting a couple pizzas and right from the beginning the lady on the phone was rude. She said there weren't any deals on so we ordered our pizza, wings and poutine. Apparently us asking if there was any deals took up too much of her valuable time because she then told us in her rude tone to call back when we know what we want to order because she has people in store. My boyfriend then very confused said that we just stated our finished order and asked for the price. she then sat the phone down and didn't reply for a few minutes. In those minutes of waiting we could hear the workers talking about cancelling our order and something about if everyone were to magically "clear out" we wouldn't get our order, followed by a few workers laughter. Jims pizza workers are ignorant and rude not to mention the pizza is gross and slapped together. Sloppy work and clearly sloppy people working. You should not put a restaurants phone down when you have a customer on it to attend to your other customers. I hope that this lady gets fired, if you work at a job with customers you're supposed to have some hospitality. Also keep in mind this entire time my boyfriend and I both didn't say one rude word back to the lady even after hearing what I heard on the phone. When recieved the wings and fries were all together (even though it was asked to be on the side) which made them very gross and we didn't receive any dipping sauces even though it was requested at the end of the call. If by chance the rude lady sees this, please quit. Jims pizza clearly isn't...
Read moreJim's has the widest variety of food on their menu of any pizzeria I have ever been in. Friday and Saturday have aspecial roast beef buffet, while their regular menu runs the gamut from burgers and pizza to fish and chips and chicken wings to pork cutlets and steak. All of which was excellent...although the baked spaghetti is massive but the souvlaki on a pita could have used a bit more chicken.
The waitress took her time but was a very friendly... even to the point of allowing my mother to use the employee doors because she has a bad leg.
Everything was reasonably priced as well so it is certainly a place we would return...
Read moreI was in this past Saturday evening with friends, to go to the Stirling theatre , and was pleasantly surprised by Bianca, our server. Although she was VERY busy, she made time to check in on us several times and make sure we were all satisfied with everything. She was friendly, courteous and witty. The food itself has always been good, but I will say, that lately, the quality has decreased considerably, unfortunately. That said, Jimmy’s restaurant has always been a staple in Stirling, and as I heard several laughs, from other tables as they were being served, I think the service alone, will keep it alive. Keep up...
