To be fair, I’ve dined here maybe 5 or 6 times before, and the food was never bad! However, today will be my LAST visit! When I entered there may have been ten other patrons present. After about 10 minutes my server brought coffee and a menu. Now, at that point many other patrons began to flood in. I’m sure it’s not my server’s fault that they were understaffed, and I know you pay more attention to a table of eight than a table of one. After 30 minutes of seeing others getting served while my order had still not been taken, I decided my chances of actually getting a meal were of low priority! SO,…I paid for my coffee and departed! Like I say, I understand that getting swamped creates a variety of challenges if you are short staffed. HOWEVER, being sent the message very clearly that I was not valued as a customer has been received!...

I was seated with my daughter, ( the owner welcomed us and saw us sit down) about 2 minutes later a waitress makes us move where we were already sitting. The owner had no problem where we were seated and this specific table was not reserved or anything. I am a local, myself and family come into this restaurant ALL the time... this waitress is telling me where I can sit, we left. Extremely shocked at this rude behavior. We took our business to another place, and I will continue to do so if this behavior does not change. I am still in shock that not the owners but a waitress made us move when there were other tables for others to sit. We came in before this group of 3 came in and this waitress booted us out of our seats. Do better, because I've ALWAYS talked so highly of this place but after this experience I'm really not sure...

A Breakfast Gem in Sundridge! If you haven’t been to the Blue Roof yet, you’re missing out! Their breakfast sandwiches are next level—perfectly toasted, loaded with all the good stuff, and seriously delicious. Whether you go for the classic bacon and egg or something fancier, you can’t go wrong. My partner and I eat here or get takeout at least once a week and it is always delicious and quick and hot and everything we wanted!

And if you’re gluten-free? They’ve got you covered! Their GF bread is actually good (which is rare), and they take extra care to keep everything safe for those with sensitivities. So nice to find a spot that gets it!

On top of all that, the staff are super friendly, and the whole place just has a great, laid-back vibe. If you're anywhere near Sundridge, make sure to stop in—your taste buds...
