Service was good (take out only) , they called when food was ready, I stayed in Terrace Bay for a week and drifters was my go-to for food.
What I liked: destroyer burger, it was filling and tasted great.
What I did t like so much:
seafood linguine, I thought it was a bit subpar for the price a 4yr old could have made it as it was essentially frozen mixed bag of seafood thrown in some linguine. ( I love pasta and seafood ) this didn't scream at me to order it again.
The appetizer platter (can't remember the actual name) but it has mozza sticks , chicken tenders, wings and potato skins.
Mozza sticks weren't gooey cheesy like I figured they would be (it was more like a solid chunk of mozza that's breaded). The potato skins were extremely greasy/oily. The chicken tenders surprised me and we're quite good, The wings were a bit different I had the mango habanero which were tasty but the chicken was on the small side so very little meat on them (they were 'dry' and not 'moist')
With my burgers I always ordered onion rings I love onion rings and there's were good. The last day I was there the onion rings weren't cooked long enough or in hot enough oil they weren't so great
But all in all probably your best option in Terrace Bay, I tried a few other places and well they will get a...
Read moreAfter living in Terrace Bay for Nine years, I can always vouch for the food at Drifters. Whether it’s Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, I’ve always enjoyed my meals. The Restaurant is cozy and feels like home, the dim lighting and light fire is a great atmosphere to unwind after a long day, or to socialize with family and friends to catch up. This was my first time spending a night in the motel and I’d like to draw attention to the suite for any families passing through. There was enough room to set up the pack and play next to the bed, and have a play area on the floor. The L-Shaped couch is super comfortable for relaxing and feeding with a view of the lighthouse and uptown Terrace Bay, the blinds are also within reach for privacy. The Jacuzzi Tub can comfortably fit two and is a nice touch to the room. Service at drifters is always with a smile and great conversation. The Lobby always has hot coffee, a great selection of snacks and pre-made lunch options as well. The Lounge offers the same menu as the restaurant, and is a great area to gather with friends. Great establishment and would...
Read moreOrdered some Take-out from Drifters their Menu Prices are listed as $4.29 for a Cheeseburger and Fries BYT they charged us $11.50 EACH we ordered 6 of them and also a Chicken Parm which according to the Menu comes with Salad or Soup and your Choice of Pasta and sauce plus Garlic Buns for $16.99 in actuality it cost me $21 for the Chicken Parm and Noodles then they charged us $1.30 for the Alfredo Sauce which the Chicken still had ICE in the middle of it when I began eating it. Came with NO BUNS and the Salad costs an EXTRA $13.99 which we Ordered with EXTRA Olives and Feta Cheese, I've seen more feta at the bottom of a Feta Bucket when empty and as far as the EXTRA Olives... 10 Olives which they charged us $1.05 for the Olives and $1.30 for the Feta Cheese. According to THEIR Menu before taxes, the bill should have been no more than $60 yet when we picked it up the TOTAL was $125 for 6 Cheese Burgers a Chicken Parm and a Greek Salad.
RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED for what you get and then not even cooked completely. My Opinion .... try Wah's Restaurant better food and more of it at...
