The 2 employees who or working when we were driving by, and we're blasted by about 12 people who came in afterward, did a great job staying positive, calm, and working their hardest to get the people through. The gentleman that looked after me, made three wraps one for each of my daughters and one for myself. As he was wrapping them up, he had to transfer them from the back counter where they were grilled to the front counter to wrap them into the waxed paper that they use. When he was transferring the third one, he dropped it on the floor. I felt terrible for him and he reacted negatively to his mistake. but he apologized, told me that the way that Subway had it set up for them to transfer the subs after being grilled on to the waxed paper in the front wasn't the best way to get it done. They weren't allowed to bring the paper to the back so they had to bring the subs to the front. I didn't want to have to make him make a whole new rap for my daughter so I told him that it was fine my daughters could share one of the ones but he already had made. He apologized several times, and asked me if I was sure that that was a good enough solution and I reassured him that yes that was fine. Be home after we were served, I heard him call a supervisor or fellow employee and ask them to come in. Within 5 minutes, another employee had joined them. This was not a good stop, The lettuce was past its prime, I generally get gluten free bread, which generally is good at Subway, I took one bite and my sandwich crumbled into oblivion, the bread was super stale. The washrooms were atrocious, definitely not a good sign for a restaurant. The staff was friendly and polite. Read moreThe absolute worst Subway restaurant I have ever been to. Constantly out of bread, I never get what I went there to get because they're always out of stock for half the menu. The staff (with the exception of one worker) are incompetent, clearly the management is as well. Again, worst subway in Canada.
Ps; If you aren't first in line when you walk in.. Be prepared to wait ten minutes for each person ahead of you, no exaggeration. (I have been frequenting the restaurant for the past three months as the options are slim in Terrace Bay.....
