Haryana's Restaurant — Restaurant in Terrace

We went to explore this new restaurant. We were in a group of 3, did not get good service at all. The price was bit higher than other restaurants as they make everything from scratch which is fine. We ordered panner makhni and chapati, server did not mention they are busy with online order ( pickup order) . We got our food after 30 min which is okay. At the same time, we order 3 chapati and Naan, the server reaction was not good. She mentioned, we are busy with the online order so please order all food now but did not mentioned when we were ordering for the first time. We did wait for the Naan and chapati for almost 25 minutes, no chapati at all. When we asked how much time it will take, kitchen staff mentioned another 10 minutes. We denied to have food from there. It’s a waste of time. The service and behaviour of the staff was not at all friendly.

The procedure followed there is online order has the highest priority compare to Dine in order. We understand FiFo (first in first out), but the concept from the staff is order all the food before 35 minutes ago and let it be lingered there, while guest eat other food.

The reviews on this place were weird so, we weren’t sure what to expect. It’s attached to a motel and is pretty unassuming. We got in from the Yukon a little late but, it says open til 10 so we went. They actually close at 9 but, were still willing to feed us. We had rogan Josh and chicken curry, you can choose your spice level, both were great. We did one hot and one medium, I thought they were perfect, I’m white tho so take that with a grain of salt 😂😂 Obviously family owned, they have cold beer and, a tandoor so the naan is crispy af. Nice little restaurant, India food which I'm not very familiar with but I know I like butter chicken so that's what I had. It was a little different than what I was expecting but I think it may have been more authentic as everyone working there was Indian. I liked it and would recommend, I did mention though that they may want to increase the amount of rice especially to the guys who come in. The lady said that if I'd asked I could have had more, no problem. I said that the waitress didn't tell me but she seemed fresh off the plane and her English was a work in progress.
