Worst customer service ever. I ordered a burger without cheese as mentioned on the receipt and the prepared one with it. When I mentioned that I cannot eat cheese, the employee TOOK OUT THE CHEESE WITH HIS BARE HAND AND CLOSED AND PRESSED BY HAND THE BURGER!!!!! another disgusting thing, the employee that was mopping the floor, came behind the counter, DIDN'T BOTHER WASHING HER HANDS and just made coffee for me and other clients. THE CASHIER WASn'T EVEN BOTHERED!!! WHAT IS THIS GARBAGE PLACE? DO WE NEED TO SEND AND INSPECTOR AND SEE WHATS BEHIND THE COUNTER! A REAL SHAME. GUYS PLESE BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU ORDER YOUR FOOD THERE.

Eating keto and thought I would be eating a burger, no bun - sloppy and messy. They offered to make it a lettuce wrap and it was perfect. Ate just like a tasty burger. My wife loves onion rings and said these were THE BEST ones she has ever had - and we have had all kinds of onion rings. The food was very fresh and the place was nice and clean.

I frequently travel along Highway 401 and often find myself stopping at one of the OnRoute Tim Hortons locations for a quick coffee and bite to eat. A few weeks ago, I decided to switch things up and ordered two sausage breakfast sandwiches with lettuce wraps instead of the usual buns. When I received my bill, I was surprised to see an extra charge of $0.95 for each lettuce wrap. What really caught me off guard was that the “lettuce wrap” was simply a single slice of lettuce on each side of the sausage patty—hardly what I’d call a proper wrap. After waiting around 6-7 minutes in the drive-through line, despite only one car ahead of me, I politely asked about the extra charge at the window. The staff explained that it was “premium pricing” because the location was on the 401. The explanation and the minimal effort put into my order left me feeling a bit disappointed, both with the value and the overall experience. This past weekend, I had a completely different experience at the A&W just off the highway at Dorchester Rd. I was heading to a meeting in Toronto and decided to stop in for breakfast. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Arun, who made a point of thoroughly washing his hands before serving me—a small gesture that really stood out and gave me confidence in the cleanliness of the place. I ordered two sausage Eggers with lettuce wraps, and Arun asked if I was collecting A&W points, which is a nice perk that's not always available along the 401. When my order was ready, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous amount of fresh, crisp lettuce used for the wraps—far more than the single leaf I’d received at Timmys. The sandwiches were delicious, the coffee was excellent, and the service was fast and friendly. Arun even wished me a great day as I left, which made the experience feel personal and welcoming. The attention to detail, quality of food, and customer service at A&W made me feel genuinely valued. I’ll definitely be making it a regular stop on my future trips...

Title: "A Surprising Delight at A&W Canada"

Review:

My recent visit to A&W in Canada was a revelation, particularly in the realm of fast food dining. What truly set this experience apart was the remarkable quality of their root beer and grass-fed burgers, surpassing my expectations for a fast food establishment.

The root beer at A&W Canada is in a league of its own, distinctly superior to any American version I have tasted. There's a certain depth and richness to the flavor that is hard to find in other fast food chains. Each sip was a perfect blend of sweetness and refreshment, making it an absolute must-try for anyone visiting.

As for the grass-fed burger, it was astonishingly good. In a market where fast food often equates to mediocrity, A&W's burger was a standout. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, rivaling what one might expect from a higher-end restaurant. The quality of the ingredients shone through, making it clear that A&W Canada doesn't cut corners when it comes to their food.

In conclusion, A&W Canada offers a surprisingly high-quality dining experience for a fast food chain. Their exceptional root beer and delicious grass-fed burgers set a new standard for what fast food can be. It's a refreshing change of pace in the fast food landscape, and a must-visit for those seeking quality and flavor in a casual...

I eat breakfast here whenever I am in the Dorchester area on a sunrise photo shoot. ... There is never a lineup, and there is plenty of parking. Friendly and efficient staff greet you with a smile. Service is quick and done professionally. ... Clean and quiet, this location is a must-visit. Sparkling clean and all of the condiments are full and free of dripping. ... The paper serviettes are correctly loaded to facilitate removal. That is a big plus for me. Read on to see why. ... It burns me when the serviettes loaded upside down. Even worse is upside down and backwards! When I can not grab that loose lip on the next serviette and have to pinch then pull out, I get about four or five of them. Grrr! You only had this job. It is not rocket science to load them correctly. Maybe a little diagram on the top of the dispenser. A waste! ... As part of a roadside stop, there is fuel and a significant petrol company (the one with the HUGE Canadian flag) with an accompanying retail store with every imaginable tool and trinket for your truck or car. ... Attached to the store is a full-service restaurant for your sit down meal convenience. I have never eaten in this establishment, so I can...
