Carson's Pizzeria Niagara Falls — Restaurant in Thorold

Are you okay with being greeted by friendly staff that feel like family? Do you like getting so much food you end up with leftovers? Do you mind if you are never able to enjoy pizza anywhere else again because it simply doesn't compare?

If none of that bothers you, then it's time to order Carson's.

Joking aside, I am new to the area and took a chance on Carson's because of location, and now that I've had it, I would make the trip from anywhere in the Niagara Region to try this. That deep dish though? I mean - THAT DEEP DISH! Seriously? Man, I don't know if I can ever be satisfied with less. I'm a guy that used to finish a whole large pizza to myself, but I can barely make it through half of a small deep dish. The quality is through the roof! It just tastes so homemade and crafted with love. Try it, if you dare. The jumbo wings are fantastic, and the French fries with duck - yes, duck - are Gordon Ramsay level good. My mouth is watering now and I just finished half a deep dish. To top it off, the staff is just next level. If there were ever anything to go wrong with your order, I know 100% these guys would take care of you. I get the feeling these guys would go as far as to stay open late to remake an order just to make sure you were satisfied if anything ever hypothetically went wrong. I met John, one of the owners, and he is a straight up stand up guy. You can tell that everyone that works there is having a good time and really cares to make you feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer - the one cashier even wrote an adorable little poem on the receipt just to make our experience more special. I haven't had Carson's 10 times yet, but the results are already in - this place is a 10 out of 10 experience ten times out of ten. That's 10/10/10/10 (I think).

Stop wasting time reading this and just order your pizza already! You will not regret it.

This is "The Worst Pizza and wing order I ever had" Truely! Don't write reviews I'm given them one Now. I put the order in an hour & half ahead of pick up, thinking family day I should give them some lead time. Needed to pick up at 5. Ordered the 24 slice with 4lbs of wings plus a large fry for my 2 & 4 year old granddaughters. Arrived at 4:55. Was made to wait 15 minutes in a very smokey store.(I have "COPD") thought I was gonna die. Got my order, even tipped him. I will never tip a take out order again just cause of this guy. Arrived at my daughter's 8 min later. Opened the pizza, it was completely " COLD!". COLD HARD CHEESE, HARD BISCOTTI LIKE CRUST. ALL COLD! Now the wings. Nice large "Under cooked wings." Are they nuts? Yes under cooked wings just topped with sweet baby rays barbecue sauce. So much sauce you could hardly see the wing. But hey! They were hot. Now the French fries. Hard crunchy over cooked and cold fries. Payed almost a Hundred bucks to these clowns for worst take out I ever had. If the smoke in the pizzeria hadn't put me in breathing distress I would have gone back & thrown it in his face & demanded my money back. Felt like I was played for "Stupid!". Order an hour & half ahead,made to wait 15 minutes in a smokey room (nearly killed me)and received inedible food for just under a hundred bucks with tip. Shame on you "CARSONS PIZZA". You deserve this review. I was not disappointed, I was RIPPED OFF! THROW AWAY FOOD,MADE TO WAIT after hour & half order time. If it didn't happen to me I would find it hard to believe. Update: I still have not gone back but they suggested I contact them via email. Even after I tried to discuss my issues twice the day of the order. It's good to see that businesses only care about seeing negative reviews effect them rather than fix the issue when it arises.

Original review: After being referred to Carson's for how good their deep dish is and pizza in general, I can say I won't order again. The two ordering systems they use (besides phone) are horrendous and the staff blamed that for my order being incorrect.

Ordering ahead to make sure the food was hot and ready for a night shift of 9 people eating at work, planning to pickup between 6:45-6:55pm (which the confirmation text and emails said it would be ready at) only to get a confirmation at 6:23pm it was ready. 20 minutes ahead of time without notice. Needless to say, the food was cold when it was brought to work for our dinner.

Besides that, the 4lbs of wings (that came without sauce because of an ordering issue) were the lightest 4lbs of wings I've ever seen.

Their deep dish pizza has almost zero cheese, the biggest and most expensive part of deep dish pizzas, making it overpriced and just sauce mostly.

Spending $180 on the food pictured was just upsetting. Ordering ahead of time to make sure it was hot and ready and having my pickup time changed much further ahead.
