Dagwoods Bakery & Deli — Restaurant in Thunder Bay

I hsve grown up om this neighborhood for over 35 years most of those living down the street and I'm shocked that for so many of those people didn't know you were able to get the most amazing assorted subs! I'm not sure if they still sell those sadly I have since moved away and tho I still pass it when visiting having had the chance to stop in .I used to attend kings way and loved to walk on my lunch break to get a sub and just loved walking in and the smell of the place:) who can resist that smell and if I waslucky I was able to score a horn or pastry by lunch tho there usually wasn't much left of the baking. These are the places we need to support in these times because places like bakeries and delis are fading and soon will be just a memory it makes me happy when I drive by on a visit and I always comment " oh look dogwoods is...

Urgently needed cake for our wedding anniversary as we had forgotten to book earlier, all other bakeries refused, saying it was too late, stumbled on Dagwoods bakery online and the lady was patient and very kind, made suggestions and said the cake would be ready for pickup on Saturday, we needed the cake on Sunday, i couldn't believe it because it was Thursday evening and other stores said the earliest pickup would be Monday. I called and needed help surprising a friend of mine who lives in Thunderbay - you see I missed her birthday and needed an amazingly special cake and cupcakes sent same day to surprise her at work! Let me tell you instantly they were like ok we got this I have this and can add this and order here and I’ll have it done ✔️ I have never had this type of amazing customer service especially since Covid 19 has started ! This is incredible and you all deserve a huge shout out !!
