June 2024, I always make sure to tell them when I order cakes that I want the crumble spread evenly on the cake. I would have liked not to get them anymore, but I have very spoiled and particular grandchildren ... lol The cakes have been good since the screw up in June 2022.....
Update: June 2022 stupidest thing ever . We got another Reese's peanut butter sheet cake. It costs a little over $50. They decorated it differently. I took a pic of how they distributed the topping. It's absolutely the stupidest thing ever. Do you know how many people/ kids wanted that part that had the topping????? OMG ???? WHY???? AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PAST pictures, I loved Dairy Queen. I had it picked up by a friend and had no way of going back for them to fix it.
AGAIN, I ask, WHY, because it's never happened before. WHY??? I've been buying these for like 20 years because my oldest grandson loves it and has gotten siblings to get the same......
Another perfect Reese's peanut butter cup birthday cake, and of course, we had to get ourselves a treat just because, lol. Sundae for me and a smoothie for my son that drives me everywhere!!! Thank you, Justin, for being an awesome son and a HUGE thank you to the friendly staff that make and serve such fantastic food, whether it be French 🍟 and a 🍔 or hotdog to a fresh salad. I don't mind waiting a little longer for my food because I know it's being made fresh!!!! Your dessert choices are endless and heavenly!!! Dairy Queen on the corner of May and Southern has a new updated modern look inside. I don't think it's strange to go in a nice warm place to enjoy a nice cold ice cream concoction during the winter, lol. Summertime, you could enjoy the cool air conditioning inside or bask in the warmth of the sun while sitting at one of the patio tables outside. They're located beside the river, which gives you a nice view. Love...
Read moreThe staff at DQ on Southern Avenue seriously need to improve their behavior towards delivery drivers. While they manage to be somewhat polite to in-store customers, their attitude towards drivers picking up orders is outright rude and unprofessional.
Delivery drivers are kept waiting for long periods without so much as a greeting or acknowledgment. The staff speak to them in a disrespectful tone, treat them as if they’re a burden, and make no effort to be efficient or courteous. This isn’t just disrespectful—it’s unacceptable.
These drivers are doing their jobs just like anyone else. They deserve basic respect and timely service. The unnecessary delays caused by the staff not only waste the drivers’ time but also lead to late deliveries, affecting the customers on the receiving end.
Dairy Queen needs to address this issue seriously. Staff should be trained to treat everyone—customers and delivery personnel alike—with professionalism and dignity. Anything less reflects poorly...
Read moreMe, Rosco, Big Bill and The Gerge used to park our hotrods here after a long drive up and down Edward St. We'd get into it with the Green Tops over in the Intercity but they where never really a threat. Back then there where no guns or knives, it was stictly dance battles. Do the watusi, the twist or the mash potatoe until your opponenet drops. Little Loraine was the main squeeze and always rode shotgun, I still remember the smell of her oily eyeshadow. This was 1956 and no one had any idea the Dairy Queen would still be there in 2021. The Gerge became a hairdresser and started a shampoo company, Big Bill got killed in a hunting accident and Rosco became Rachel. Its a funny old world. Great shakes and...
