I used to stop in here often and really enjoyed the food. I’d even pick up frozen burgers and dinner items regularly. I liked it so much that I started grabbing food for coworkers as well.
Unfortunately, my last visit about a month ago left me very disappointed. I had ordered food for three people. I was given a spoon for the soup, which made sense, but when I politely asked for a fork to go with one of the other meals, (it was some sort of jambalaya if I recall, which was delicious) the cashier responded, “What, you can’t use the spoon for that too?” in a rude tone. When I said, “No, I cannot,” she acted very dismissively and as if she was inconvenienced by giving me a fork.
That interaction made me feel disrespected, and it completely changed my view of the place. I haven’t been back since — and that’s unfortunate, because I had been recommending it to everyone before...

Opened when i was a kid, was my bus stop, my daily shop for quick meals, drinks, and of course delicatessens. 10+ years later I still compare every linked meat i try to this place.
