Service was less than mediocre. Coffee tastes like gas station coffee. If you want great tasting coffee, look somewhere else. Even Tim Hortons tastes better than what I ordered. Don’t expect any sorts of presentation. The barista literally poured milk into the cup. Zero effort whatsoever and they have the audacity to charge $5 for a cappuccino. When I ordered my drink, the barista used old coffee grounds from the previous customer. When I asked her nicely to remake the drink, she got all defensive about it. But in the end she did make me a new one, which like I said tasted like gas station coffee.
Don’t want to instigate anything but I noticed that the barista was being nicer/ friendly to a certain race. This “coffee shop” caters to an older crowd. If you don’t mind how you’re coffee tastes or looks or how it’s made and served, you’ll probably like this place. Since, the have a lot of seating place, it’s good for older folks to hang out. Again, I’m not hating on anyone that loves hang out there, but that’s just my take on it, it’s my opinion.
Definitely a big NO for me. Never going there again. Outside looks pretty but when you enter, it’s looks dull and depressing. For the price they’re charging, you might as well go to another coffee shop which actually makes good coffee. I’m sorry I don’t complain this much but I’m truly disappointed with my experience. I bought so many items, I expected something good in return.
There’s a reason why Tim Hortons is cheap, it’s an express coffee shop. Coffee is mediocre for the price and I 100% accept that. But for the price Bevo is charging, I expect higher standards just like other specialty coffee shops. Mind you, those specialty coffee shops charge the same as Bevo charges. Now you now why I’m super disappointed. I expected so much because they present...
Read moreBEVO Café & Gelato is an absolute gem in the Scarlet and Eglinton area and is quickly becoming a neighborhood staple. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a beautifully designed and clean space that radiates warmth and charm.
The coffee is truly premium—rich, smooth, and expertly crafted—easily among the best I've had in the GTA. Their gelato is equally impressive, with the authentic taste and creamy texture of true Italian gelato. It’s the perfect treat to enjoy inside or out on their lovely patio.
But what sets BEVO apart, however, is the service. The staff are not only friendly and professional but also genuinely forthcoming, making every visit a delightful experience. Their passion for what they do shows in every interaction and every cup. The always make me leave smiling.
Whether you’re stopping by for a quick espresso, meeting with friends over coffee or gelato, or just enjoying the atmosphere, BEVO is a place you’ll want to return to again and again. Highly...
Read moreOne day I was in Toronto with my daughter and we decided to stop somewhere for coffee, so we searched for the nearest shop, and we decided to try Bevo espresso bar. It was a nice, chill and busy place where we enjoyed our little break time with some coffee and very delicious sandwiches. So, I started following them on insta. Last week I saw a post saying on Thursday at Bevo “Ladies Night out”! I definitely wanted to go out of my daily routine and socialize a little so I went. To my surprise the place was transformed into this lovely and cozy lady-like style. There was a variety of food and drinks, with an amazing artist playing the violin. I didn’t want the night to end. I’ll definitely be going back and highly recommend...
