Beef Udon: Presentation is 7/10. Looks alright. It would be better if it came in a ceramic bowl for dine in. Taste: 4/10 Broth was very mild, can't taste any beef and so do the slices of beef. If they used beef bone broth, the taste would be better. Another thing messing with the taste is the use of bell pepper and broccoli. It basically contaminated any remaining beef flavour. Price: A bit pricey but I think the portion justfies that. Note: Maybe better to remain the dish beef nabe than Udon at this point

Chicken Karaage: Presentation: 5/10. Use ceramic as it brings more premium feel. Taste: 6/10. Too much breading. Relied too much on sauce. It should be the taste of the meat before anything else. For a Karaage it didn't even have ginger taste in it. The texture was ok but again too much breading. Price: Too expensive for...

I got the uni (sea urchin) a la carte. The rice was a little harder than I'm used to and the serving size of uni was not as generous as expected. It's a premium item so the cost was fairly high as expected. It was delicious though. The atmosphere felt like a preppy bistro. I was not approached for customer service things like water or checking how I'm going, but I think that different people prefer different customer service styles so it's fine. I do think that it's better to be available for eye contact sometimes. It isn't much effort to get up or call out to someone to get anything I need, fortunately. The staff were very courteous and cooperative to my requests.

I would like to go again to try more of their menu, and will update my review then saying it's the second...

We were hangry when we found this place. It seemed perfect. Parking was a bit difficult as it’s in a strip lot with tons of businesses. Thankfully I had a small vehicle. You go in and order off a menu, then wait for your meal or seat yourself and they will bring it to you. The menu is quite extensive with lots of options. Price is on the higher end however you get quality sushi. There is good rice to filling ratio and the presentation is lovely. It tastes good. It was filling. Service was prompt after ordering. The only downside is the inside could use a bit of work- half seems blocked off perhaps for storage? And it was very hot in there.

I would definitely recommend and come back though. Some of the best tasting...

The food is good. Love the tofu teriyaki bento dish. The spicy sashimi bowl was made of rejects of their sashimi. Didn’t like the tiny little bits in the bowl of raw and left over tataki bits. The restaurant is more like a cafeteria with low quality seating and few tables for eat in. Looks more like take out style. Servers have poor sanitary skills. Should use gloves when handling customer cups/dishes. No recycling efforts seen. All dishes and cups were plastic or paper. Disappointed. Prices gone up at least 15% since a year ago.
