Went here on an hour lunch break. Sat down ordered and waited half hour just to be told that the chef was on a break the whole time I was waiting, and was starting to make the food at this point. I was so upset that no one bothered to update us or even check on us during the half hour wait to even have someone start to make our simple order. I cancelled the order as my break was almost over at this point and asked for my bill. They charged me four dollars for two sodas we barely touched because we were waiting for our food. Won't be returning here, and will ensure coworkers and friends don't visit. Read moreI'm reading all the reviews and I must disagree with most. This place is quite new to the area and looks dated like it's been there for 25 years. Decor is awful and the place is in dire need of a restaurant makeover. We ordered a chicken fried rice and chicken chow mein with chicken on top, along with a pepper shrimp, one portion of black pudding and a goat curry with white rice. The total was $66. The fried rice was decent. The chow mein had a oily taste to it....I was not impressed. The black pudding was ok but a bit dry. There are better caribbean restaurants out there, but had to try this place as the reviews seemed pretty high. I wont be going back to this...
