The Asian male clerk on the night shift was extremely rude. Around 2 a.m., I went to order coffee, but there was no clerk at the counter, and three other customers were already waiting to place their orders. After a few minutes, the clerk appeared and started taking orders from the waiting customers in a brusque and hurried manner, as if he were serving free meals at a soup kitchen. When it was finally my turn, I ordered a decaf black coffee and waited in front of the register. He quickly poured the coffee into a cup, placed it on the counter without the lid, and started entering the order into the register. I politely asked him to put the lid on the cup. At that, he responded loudly, in a rude and unfriendly tone, saying, "I'm ringing you up right now!" before finally putting the lid on and handing the cup to me. I felt quite embarrassed, but I took the cup and quickly left the place. I had only stopped by to get some coffee to relieve my fatigue after staying up all night caring for my son in the hospital. However, his rude attitude and words left me feeling more hurt than anything. Read moreI came here after going to emergency for a kids hot chocolate for my son. They tried to tell me that the child had to be in the store to get the kids size drink.
I can appreciate that rule however there is nothing written anywhere that says that. Even on the menu it does not label kids under 12 only or that the child has to be present. I had 2 adult coffees from Tim hortons, had just finished with emergency, I had a worried child in the car .most importantly I've never heard that rule, I have gotten kids hot chocolate from second cup many times without my child.
If they want to make that rule that's fine but post a sign, don't have people stand in line for 15 min and then try and tell them no.
They ended up giving it to me because I pointed out there was nothing that labeled that children had to be present to get this product but it was an unnecessary hassel especially for just finishing...

They seem to rush you through the line more busier worrying about what they are punching, no eye contact and worrying how you are going to pay?? Lucky for you..there are not much other choices there....you guys should get the proper training for your people to make the right coffee...or have people walk around and get more surveys done.
