Food: I watched my order being made, since it took maybe half an hour to even get to mine. I saw the employee pretty much make my order haphazardly without washing her hands, and I'm pretty sure that got me the stomach flu. I'm still experiencing it till now. The bacon in my wrap was sweet (there was no reason for it to be), and the my coffee tasted bitter despite being a double-double.
Service: Slow, that's all there is to it. Never mind the eternal traffic that comes with only having two cashiers as a Tim Hortons in a university, the employees are exceptionally slow. Sure, there are some experienced staff in the mix, but it always feels like I'm being served by fresh employees. Nothing wrong about being fresh, but it's been like this for too long. Also, I've noticed a severe lack of hygiene within the staff that I've recently received the consequence for letting it pass, nevertheless I probably won't be eating here again, I'd rather skip two meals than go through this pain again.
Atmosphere: Kinda sucks. Sure, the renovation added more table/chair space, but what good does it do when everyone's standing around, waiting half an hour minimum for their...
Read moreThis is my second time eating here. The food is alright, actually– this is the second time in a row they got my order wrong, so don't be surprised if you're trying something new. The staff are kind though overworked, and today seemed exceptionally disorganized; workers were too often rotated in and out of tasks which confused everyone and ultimately me almost being given two of everything I ordered because two workers strived to complete it. I wouldn't complain if I did get nearly two of everything, but this shows that workers should be able to complete a task before moving on to the next, or at least have someone else take over their job instead of leaving the customer standing clueless for minutes and then their order getting rushed to complete by two different workers, unaware of...
Read moreThey have a great service and the staff are very friendly. They have a full menu like other Tim Horton's, but they often are sold out on a lot of things. As well, they have no hot food one hour before closing time. For such a large campus, the staff are often rushing and stressed due to long lines. Not only do you have to wait to order (which could be about 6-8 minutes), you also have to wait for your food if you ordered from the deli (I had to wait 8 minutes a couple of times). If you're in a rush, I suggest you don't go. I don't believe you can order from the Tims app, but they have a U of T mobile ordering app (Transact), but you cannot collect points on it. The staff does their best to accommodate you and provide the best service possible,...
