Hero Certified Burgers — Restaurant in Toronto

This review is for the UofT Scarborough campus location.

I bought two burger combos with 2 add on burgers. I received my burgers, but the guy didn't ask me what toppings I wanted, instead they just assumed I'd like relish on my burgers. I was super hungry from a long day and needed to grab lunch. Everything was good, up until I noticed he added relish to my burger. I ordered burgers not a hot dog or a sausage, but why add relish to a burger? Not sure if the guy used relish to replace lettuce, but my burger had no lettuce in it. Not sure if this is standard practice but it should be looked into and stopped.

This place could have easily earned a better star rating had it got some things down right.

1. Don't assume toppings for the customer. Always Ask.

Ordered online and arrived 40 minutes later to my order not being ready yet. They called and told me about 15 minutes in that the burger i ordered wasn’t available so they automatically just charged my card an extra $4 without consent for a completely different burger combo. They made the exact same burger that I ordered anyways and also charged me extra, and also kept me waiting for 15 additional minutes. I've had HERO Burger at many places, but this place was a little under average compared to some other locations I've been to. Out of the two times I went, my burger was undercooked, but they fixed it for me when I went back. They didn't include all the toppings I wanted either. Fries were consistent quality, and cashier was very quiet and didn't really talk to me when I ordered. If I really want HERO Burgers, I may consider other locations before coming back, but I would definitely give them...
