Feb 17/19 arrived at 6:04am and placed an order for 5 bagels and 1 dozen assorted with a steeped tea. I go to pay at the drive threw window and tap my card on the credir card. But I noticed the priced only said $1.98 when I was told $13.98. But the window closes before I can say anything to the guy who is rushing around.... He comes back and says you had the bagels right? And I say yes but can I get the receipt? I just needed to make sure it did say $1.98. But he comes back and says oh no mame it didn't go through and tries to hand me the pin pad again. Keep in mind there is a building line up of vehicles behind me. I said wait a minute... I tapped my card and I want a receipt for what I tapped for. It will say it didn't go through. Next thing you know his cash drawer opens and he hands me a $ twoonie as a refund!! So I said it did go through just not for the correct amount. He nods his head. But why lie over something like that??? I was sure it was $1.98. So next I tap for $13.98 and he hands me the bagels and tea. But I say and where are the doughnuts??? He says we don't have any. Im like what? Why not? He says because no one opened the store to make them. So I ask if he had muffins or something? Im going to a staff meeting! He says he has honey dip, crulers, and apple fritters! So Im like then put 6 honey dip and 6 crulers in! But now I need to pay again. $9.99 cause obviously I wasnt charged them but I wasn't told anything!!! Im in a rush and Im sure everyone else behind me was. And this Tim Hortons had no apologies and no discounts for any of my troubles. But I certainly did pay for the truck's order behind me since he had to wait through this painful ordeal. And it was for $1.98!!!! His coffee! So I gave back that twoonie and Sure hope the staff member Actually gave the truck driver his coffee for no charge! I can see why this store has less than steller reviews. If the Manager doesn't care maybe the...
Read moreAvoid this store, NO customer service. 1st trip into this store: Waited and watched 2 employees chat about somethingwhile I waited for my chili to get put into a bowl. There was nobody in front of me. they were just organizing and cleaning. A minute later, the guy asks me what I wanted. He scooped the chili into a bowl and continued chatting. He held it until he finished chatting and handed it over, along with a dirty spoon. I sat down and all I could here was this chatting. I should have walked across to the other side of the store to eat. 2nd trip: Drive thru, ordered a steak sandwich and a drink. Got the drink and told to pull ahead for sandwich. 10 minutes later, I walk in and waited in line. Cashier tells me to go to sandwich line. waited and asked for my sandwich. Counter person says there is no sandwich on her monitor. A supervisor goes thru the screen and says it was 12 minutes ago. I leave as I am running late. I call later in day to ask for a refund and was told a manager will call. No call after 2 days. I called and spoke to Jason. I gave info and no refund in mail after a week. I called corporate 3 times and no callback or refund. They said they will escalate it and owner will call. Going onto 4 or 5 week and no calls or refund from Tim Horton's. Nancy, go visit your store and see what is going on there or reply to your emails. You must be too busy...

My wife and I were on vacation and we're staying in an Airbnb on Fireside View. It was our first night there, when suddenly, we were woken up by the doorbell at 2 in the morning. When I went downstairs, to see who it was, not one was there. I didn't know what was going on, so I went back upstairs. I saw a strange glowing light, but thought nothing of it. I thought it was the construction workers working at night. When I looked outside I saw some wood on fire, and then thought that the construction workers were burning some trash. I then looked a bit further to the right and saw that the entire building was on fire (attached photo)!
My wife and I evacuated our building and drove over to the near by gas station. Another evacuee who was also in the lot had mentioned that Tim Hortons was offering a free donut and water for those affected by the fire while it was prepping for the day during it's off hours. We went in, got a free donut, and the first shift person let us use the telephone there to make whatever calls necessary as we sat down recovering from the shock of what was happening.
Thanks,...
