I placed an order on Canada Day through the online ordering and my email confirmation said it would be ready for pick up at 8:30 PM. It did not say that they were closed at 6 PM so when I arrived at 8:30, the doors were locked even though the signs outside so they were open till midnight on Saturday. With no change in Canada Day hours. I wasn’t able to get my food so I called in the next day and nobody on the phone was really able to help me. They were all confused, saying that they didn’t work the day before. I asked to speak to someone that knew so they put me on the phone with a gentleman he told me I had to contact the online directly, so I looked on the online website and it says the restaurant you contact. So now I am out money because I didn’t get my food and I didn’t get a refund. The receipt I have online states the thirsty, cactus, and the charge to my credit card is from the thirsty cactus. I find this is really shady for a company to do there is not much willingness to help Give me my refund back.....
Read moreThirsty cactus is in dire need of some love. The restaurant is a dive. Walking in, it smelled like sewer. Probably just a bathroom trap that needed some water, but it permeated into the dining area and persisted during the entire time.
A lot of things in disrepair, including the tables. Decor doesn't match the menu either. Sounds and looks like a Mexican restaurant but it's not at all.
Menu's were crumpled and should have been replaced a long time ago. The owner is neglecting this place. Even if money is tight, there are plenty of things that can fixed without breaking the bank.
Food was nothing special. It too lacks attention to detail. A few tweaks can greatly enhance the end product.
Won't be returning until this place...

We were not aware the restaurant closes at 9pm (because it was the weekend and the restaurant was connected to the bar) and we placed an order 20 min before closing. They said we could still place the order and they are alright with it so we placed the order. When we went to pick our order I kindly apologize for the inconvenience and the cashier just said “uh no” and proceeded to slam the debit machine on the table.
