My experience was horrible do not recommend! First we walk in and wait to seated of course but as we get seated we wait for the lady to come get our order which was 20 mins or more. As we looked around and saw all your employees over worked and tired and didn't look happy. One of your employees was wearing spandex SHORT shorts no offense but when I was in there it felt like hooters and made me uncomfortable. I thought it was it was whistlers not hooters. I use to enjoy this place but things have seriously went down hill for a Thursday night that was sad not to mention food took forever like a whole hour. And very slow service and when I went to use your salt it was stuck it was full. in future add rice to absorb moisture. Also the tables where filthy they where not cleaned for probably longer then what we where there.also asked for NO croutons in my salad but to my surprise there where croutons in MY salad. Also food tasted gnarly and gross.we should have went to Macdonalds instead for your grub hub so Paistey and gross. Hardly no napkins. We got 2 napkins and some people i was with where missing napkins at our table IT WAS WING NIGHT oh and my husband was the last one at our table to get the wings also did i mention it was wing night?? . I know everything is expensive right now but come on. There was also nothing to keep little kids occupied. Like no crayons not coloring books. It was also slow and not busy back in my days it was fast service also more busy But the good thing was silverware was clean. Not worth the money or...
Read moreI had the hot hamburger, cooked to a satisfying char, and generously topped with rich, savory gravy. The option to have it open-faced or "traditional" is a thoughtful touch, and the dish, including fries, arrived hot and fresh, just as advertised. I did miss the classic side of coleslaw, and every place has their own twist.
Authentic, friendly, attentive service.
I know we're in a world of inflation, but 20.25 for the hot hamburger seemed a little steep.
The interior seemed worn and a bit dim due to the small windows. Some background music might have been nice. The soccer game on the TV that no one was watching was odd. Despite a few quirks, Whistler's has its charms. The food was satisfying. The spacious layout, with its stage and separate VLT area, hints at potential for a livelier ambiance. There's also an open air eating area off to the side.
If you're seeking a hot and fresh meal in a laid-back setting, Whistler's Pub and Grub is...
Read moreI can't say I was terribly impressed. The waitress was pleasant enough. But that's the best I can say. It took nearly an hour and a half for our party of 6 to receive our food. I totally understand that it would take longer for a table of 6 people to get food but an hour and a half is just ridiculous. And I would think that after waiting that long my fries would have at least been hot. They were not. They were barely warm and kind of chewy. The rest of the party merely said their food was "ok" and "nothing to write home about". The only reason I didn't complain about my fries is because I had just spent an entire day at a racetrack then waited an hour and a half for food so by that point I was so hungry I just didn't care anymore. The waitress did her best though. So you get points for her. But I can't say I'll...
