Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Westlock

As a truck driver who spends a lot of time on the road, I have the opportunity to try out food in many corners of this beautiful province of Alberta. I'm passing through Westlock AB many years, and usually, as most truckers, I'm in some kind of hurry always. Here and there, when I finish my day in Westlock, if I see the opportunity to have a nice decent meal, I go to the restaurant. Tonight, I've been to Boston Pizza after good 5 years, and I gotta say this. THEY HAVE IMPROVED!

INSIDE IS CLEAN, NEW CHAIRS AND TABLE THAT ARE ACTUALLY COMFORTABLE TO SIT AND ENJOY YOUR MEAL. NO SMELL FROM THE KITCHEN WAS COMING IN THE DINING AREA. GIRL AT THE DOOR WAS WELCOMING. SERVER GIRL WAS ELOQUENT, POLITE, PLEASANT, KNOWLEDGEABLE, SHE TOOK GOOD CARE OF ME MAKING SURE MY DRINK CUP WAS REFILLED AND SHE WAS ALWAYS COMING BACK TO SEE HOW'S EVERYTHING TASTING.

FOOD WAS AMAZING

CHICKEN MUSHROOM FETTUCCINE WAS BIG IN SIZE, COOKED, CREAMY, CHICKEN WAS JUICY, MUSHROOMS WERE CUT IN NICE LARGER CHUNKS(MY PERSONAL PREFERENCE) AND VEGETABLES TASTED NICE, CHIVES AND TOMATO CUBES.

KUDOS TO THE CHEF!

STEAK WAS DONE TO MY LIKING MEDIUM RARE WAS PERFECT. FOOD WAS PERFECT

ONLY THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE ARE: STEAK KNIFE WASN'T APPROPRIATE AS IT WAS EASY TO BENT. IT WAS LIKE FISH FILLETTING KNIFE. MAYBE THEY'LL UPGRADE THE CUTLERY AND THE BOWL WITH VEGGIES WAS INSIDE THE MAIN PLATE BUT THAT WOULDN'T BE AN ISSUE IF THERE WAS NO PAPER TOWEL UNDER THAT TINY BOWL. THAT PAPER GOT MOIST FROM THE MEAT JUICE AND MASHED PATATOES SO AT SOME POINT I GRABBED SOME PAPER ALONG WITH THE MASHED PATATOES MAYBE DON'T PUT PAPER WITH FOOD NEXT TIME.

OTHER THAN THAT THIS IS ONE SOLID 4 STAR PLACE TO EAT. AMOUNT OF FOOD AND PRICE AND QUALITY IS 5 STAR.

ONLY SERVING STYLE I'D SAY 4 STAR.

I even dont know where to start. I made a reservation for 6 for my gf’s bday we dined in Dec. 17, 2023 at 5 pm. The waitress named Dalyyn P. is rude, unfriendly, acts like a trucker, lazy I have been to BP so many times I know how the servers present to the customer on the table they bring plates, wipes, parmasean and crush pepper. I ordered kids meal first for my toddler when it was ready Dalynn handed me the plate (without saying please and thank you) instead of setting it on the table nicely. Then when she brought the two orders her hands were full and demanded my son to move the menu, she should’ve cleared the table first. Dalyyn doesn’t know how to ask politely she was bossy and rude asking instructiions to move stuff around if she knows she cant handle the orders she could have asked another server to move stuff for her. She is so lazy she did not even put a stand for the large pizza. Her face looks always mad and with flat affect.
