Togo Plus Sushi — Restaurant in Township of Langley

So I've had the liberty to be a customer at Togo sushi at this location in Langley. I've been to this establishment for the third time now and I'm saddened by the lack of quality of fish, proportions, and poor food preparation. I guess I'm considered a regular since the friendly lady that takes the orders recognizes me and knew my order before Ive spoken a word to her.

The fish quality does not taste fresh, it tastes and smells quite stinky. The proportions of the fish is laughable. Five thinly sliced pieces of salmon sashimi on a huge bowl of rice and a tiny skinny salmon roll is hardly worth the $15 they charged me. To top that all off, I have bit onto fish bones on my second and third (which will be my last) visit. Never have I encounter fish bones in all the years of consuming sushi, never. I can't imagine the horror if a young child started to choke on one of these fish bones. Sloppily prepared raw meat has dangerous outcomes for all consumers. So I ordered tonight 1 order off tuna sashimi and half order off prawn tempura- 40 min wait .. no problem- show up and a mis communication, apparently I ordered 4 orders off sashimi not 1 . ( I didn’t but all good) Being in the industry for 25 years I support the industry and took all 4 orders spending $67.00 for a meal for 1 person to not waste food . To realize all my tuna was completely frozen- I couldn’t even eat it for another hour after ordering, and after biting the bullet off their mistake and having a frozen meal - I was disappointed- I appreciate the free Snapple you gave me to compensate your mistake- but having a frozen tuna to defrost was not cool. Wow, this is my new "ToGo" for sushi. Best tasting sushi I've had in a long time! Very friendly family owned. Priced right for every family. They keep traditional Japanese restaurant hours and take Sunday off for their family day, I'm good with that, fits a family neighborhood. Thank you for existing Togo Plus Sushi.
