Looooove the place and Carol the owner. Last time I went there was for a tea leaf reading with Sue (she is amazing) and I felt suddenly weak for some reason. Well I got cared for right away with cold water and a cold wet cloth then felt better. When we were done with the reading I came back downstairs and there was Carol waiting for me with a snack to go because she was worried my blood sugar was low. All that story is to tell you how great that place is. And I didn't even talk about how the ambiance is warm and welcoming in this old renovated/rejuvenated house. Also the treats are delicious. Not to mention all the crafts that are on display/for sale from local businesses/artisans. 10/10 would recommend... actually I do recommend it time and again to everyone looking for a nice place to relax while having tea and snacks with their friends in a cozy...

The strata was amazing - seasoned with sage and caramelized onions - it tasted like Fall and thanksgiving, and was so yummy. We decided to try the Tyne Valley Teas Cafe and BOY, are we glad we did!!!!
We fell in love with the decor as soon as we stepped in the door where we were greeted by the friendliest lady we have ever met. If THAT wasn't enough...the food was absolutely, positively THE best we have eaten in a long time.
