I loved everything about this place. Decorations were beautiful with a calm and inviting atmosphere, they had books and board games upstairs (would have been perfect on a rainy day). Tea cups were a gorgeous array of florals. Food and drinks were awesome, well priced, the place was clean and service was lovely. 10/10 would recommend and would love to come back!

Absolutely fantastic and accommodating service in a cozy setting! The menu is amazing; something for everyone! The view from upstairs is amazig; beautiful view of tge ricer. I treated myself to the Anne's Twmea which has a selection of sandwiches, soup, salad, tea, and dessert! Wonderfully presented with edible and tasty pansy flowers. Highly recommend!

Looooove the place and Carol the owner. Last time I went there was for a tea leaf reading with Sue (she is amazing) and I felt suddenly weak for some reason. Well I got cared for right away with cold water and a cold wet cloth then felt better. When we were done with the reading I came back downstairs and there was Carol waiting for me with a snack to go because she was worried my blood sugar was low. All that story is to tell you how great that place is. And I didn't even talk about how the ambiance is warm and welcoming in this old renovated/rejuvenated house. Also the treats are delicious. Not to mention all the crafts that are on display/for sale from local businesses/artisans. 10/10 would recommend... actually I do recommend it time and again to everyone looking for a nice place to relax while having tea and snacks with their friends in a cozy...

Stopped in for lunch with my three teens and had an amazing meal. Everyone loved it. I had the cheese strata with side greens salad. The strata was amazing - seasoned with sage and caramelized onions - it tasted like Fall and thanksgiving, and was so yummy. Two of my kiddos had the grilled cheese with roasted tomatoes and fresh herbs, and they said it was the best lunch that they have had out. :) The tea house is cozy and beautiful, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Don't miss their desert, teas or coffees. They are home made, fresh,...

While we didn't head out to go to Tyne Valley today, by happenstance we ended up in this quaint, beautiful spot and decided to make the best of it by having lunch while we were there.

We decided to try the Tyne Valley Teas Cafe and BOY, are we glad we did!!!!

We fell in love with the decor as soon as we stepped in the door where we were greeted by the friendliest lady we have ever met. If THAT wasn't enough...the food was absolutely, positively THE best we have eaten in a long time.

' HIGHLY recommend...
