Roxie's Diner — Restaurant in Unorganized Centre Parry Sound

We waited two hours for our meal. This was a special night out for four sisters having a week long visit together. We were told a one hour wait despite the fact we had a reservation. They seem to prioritize pick up orders over customers in the restaurant. I think it's pure greed and they should have known enough to cut off orders, because they obviously could not handle the ones they had. But, no, they kept taking customers until after 7 p.m. even though they closed at 8 p.m. and were two hours behind. We will not go back again. This has happened to us previously, although not quite to this degree. The owner/cook did not come to us to apologize or to address our concerns we made to the waitress and asked her to pass them on to the owner/cook directly. He avoided our gaze completely. The only reason I am giving one star is because the food was good. The poor staff were run off their feet ... so unfair. We were given one free meal but were made to barter the terms of compensation for our two hour wait, which...

i revisited the Roxie after a couple of seasons away. This time was a midweek visit in the early evening round supper time. Were few customers about so i had a wide choice of seating. i choose center of the store, grin|| The menu was still familiar and so feeling a little adventurous i choose, steak and shrimp. i have a habit of working on my h2o quota all day and so i asked for a tall glass if ice water with a wedge of lemon which the waiter thought keeped topped off. now thats service i was thinking cold slaw for my salad option but was not available so the waiter offered a dish of diced cabbage with salad dressing.
