I was there with my family and we ordered 2 hamburgers, a veggie burger, 2 plates of fries and a raspberry frozen lemonade.
The "frozen" lemonade was water and not a bit of ice or freezing to it and tasted like cool sickly sweet blue colouring. They said that it is hot out so that is why it melted. But this was how it was given to us.
The kids working there were nice, but were not invested in really doing much of a job as they brushed off the "frozen" lemonade as it was no big deal and did not refund us our money or saw anything wrong with how terrible it looked.
The chips were good, but the burgers were terrible. There was nothing to them. Super flat, no taste, stale, flat bun. They make McDonalds burgers look like the greatest burgers ever made. These were just terrible and they were also cool to low luke warm, and I was there when they were packaging them in the foil. I am not sure how they could accomplish not warm burgers off the fryer, but they did, maybe it was from the same place they got the "frozen" lemonade and are in a "special zone of terrible food" inside the Beach House.
And the best part is, we paid $65.00 plus they wanted a minimum of a 15% tip for 3 flat, no taste, cold burgers, 2 plates of chips and a melted cup of blue water.
It used to be good when we had the food there 2 years ago. Not sure what happened????? But we won't take that chance again the next time we come to...
Read moreJust had the worst experience renting a paddleboard from this place. It was very expensive—we paid over sixty dollars for it. We weren’t informed that the handle was broken, so we had to carry it like a tabletop to the water. Even with two people, it was difficult to manage. When we returned it, it was even harder to carry because it was wet and slippery.
Then, we were told there was seaweed on it, and they would charge an $8 cleaning fee unless we carried it back to the lake to wash it and return it clean. We explained that we weren’t aware it needed to be spotless and that the handle was broken in the first place. I was already exhausted from carrying it back. It’s simply too much work. The lake water by the beach house is full of seaweeds. The kitchen sink was right next to us, so I asked if they could give us some water to wash it. The guy said he wasn’t working and refused. He insisted that we either carry it back to the lake with the broken handle or pay the $8 cleaning fee.
We were forced to pay the fee because they kept our credit card during the rental. It was the worst customer service experience. We feel completely ripped off and treated like garbage. Buyer beware—never rent from this...

I was with my little cousin and aunt today deciding on what rental we were going to go with to which a man was helping us with. Kept making comments like “I have stuff to do” or “you guys clearly can’t follow instructions” I guess not expecting that to come off as disrespectful. When I had confronted about his behaviour because I too deal with customers on a daily as a manager and I would never speak to them in that form for whatever reason. He had then told us we damaged the boat by dragging when we did not drag it at all then proceeded to say it’s on video. I understand the property itself having security camera / footage. But to pull out your personal device and record 3 women is a little weird. I would really think that if you would like returning customers and if you care for your reputation as a business owner, you will choose to act differently towards...
