Tremonti Ristorante — Restaurant in Vaughan

Went here for dinner with my wife, based on a recommendation, and wasn't disappointed. Interior decor is very warm and cozy. Meals were cooked to perfection with care. Server presented us bread and some pizza bites to start, with a delicious chili oil on the side. The Funghi Tremonti is an interesting starter salad with mixed greens, bocconcini and the most delicious sauteed wild mushrooms. The braised Lamb special melted off the bone, had a wonderful grill flavour and was drizzled in a mouth-watering glaze. Side vegetables were very fresh as well. Gnocchi Al Ragu Di Fagiano was delicious with its unique pheasant ragu sauce. Paired with a couple of glasses of red wine, it was a perfect meal. Decided to have the in-house made blueberry cheesecake and tiramisu for dessert and both were the perfect ending to a perfect meal, when paired with a cappuccino and Spanish coffee. Final note that the service is top-notch! Felt welcome and appreciated the entire time. Looking forward to a future visit!

First time here (during COVID). I was looking for a comfortable and quiet place with mid to high quality food, and Tremonti definitely delivered. My online reservation was honoured, and I was promptly seated and taken care of. They have a lot of booths with plush seats, which was a nice treat. The menu is impressively diverse, I saw rabbit and bison or ox. Soup of the day was roasted red pepper. All of it was excellent, cooked and seasoned and served well, being neither too much nor too little but just right. It isn't good enough to be memorable or craved, but everything we had on the menu was great and it complemented our night. Quiet, cozy atmosphere with an open dining room (you can sit almost anywhere and see everywhere). Bathrooms were kept clean. Basic COVID protocols were in place, social distancing maintained even on a Saturday night.
