Been excited to try this place since it opened up during Covid but never really got a chance. Aside from Ali Baba’s, there’s not really another dedicated shawarma spot within the area so having variety helps the competition.
It’s a very lowkey gem of a spot but in such a great traffic area as it’s right off of Weston & Steeles. I can see a lot of workers in the area come here for lunch but also walk ins as it’s very affordable, good portion, clean space and the customer service was very warm. I can tell but also see that the workers enjoy what they do and the hospitality that comes with it.
I’ve been to a lot of shawarma places but the chicken here is probably my favourite as it’s so tender and just melts, their garlic potatoes are seasoned fantastic as well compared to other places that treats them like regular baked ones, top it off with their homemade sauce which is a great addition.
You won’t feel bloated afterwards like from Ozmow’s because the food’s not as heavy which is a huge plus in terms of digestion and being satiated. I’ll definitely...
Read moreWe have ordered chicken shawarma on pita a few times as take out from this restaurant and it is by far the best Shawarma in Toronto !!! The chicken is delicious. The staff does an excellent job, They warm up the pita first, put an opening through it, cut shawarma and heat it on grill more. Once it is ready they put chicken in pita and all the yummy salad type of ingredient after it and they even put more chicken to it after the salad which I have never seen anywhere else. Their attention to detail is very much appreciated. It is super affordable too !! Whenever we are around that area this is our go to place to. I want to try different things in the menu too but their chicken shawarma is so good not sure when I will order something different from this place, lol. Highly...
Read moreDelicious chicken shawarma! Ate there 15 minutes ago with a few of my coworkers. Food was very good, no one was disappointed with their food.
I got the chicken shawarma salad with extra chicken. Extra chicken costs $3.99 but I would say it’s definitely worth it. The amount of food I received was insane, I actually had to pack some up and take the rest home. Everything has good flavour as well. The hot sauce especially, spicy, but sweet at the same time. Very good.
Apart from Ali Baba’s there’s currently not many other shawarma options in this area. It’s nice having something new, I myself find it to be better then Ali Baba’s.
Overall, I would...
