Our experience at the Greg Bistro exceeded our expectations by very far. The food was absolutely delightful. The service was incredibly attentive and wonderful, and the views are gorgeous !

We were in the area only for a couple of nights. They were the only restaurant open both nights, so we tried it and absolutely loved it.

The food was tasteful, fresh, perfectly cooked, and seasoned. Each bit was tasty and delightful. We both took the 4 course option, and I can not stress out worth it this is. The price to quality ratio is in the favor of the client. In the city, this meal would have been at least twice the price for this quality.

We particularly appreciated the effort to partner up with local distributors and collaborators.

Our waiter was so kind and wonderful - curious and kind but not overbearing at all. Everything was in the details and attention - very subtle. It didn't feel uptight yet the quality of the service and the food could have been that kind of place.

We are very excited to have discovered this gem. We look forward to...

I recommend the restaurant. I would love to go back for dinner and brunch.

Pros: -Great food. We loved the cheese platter, cold cut platter, hazelnut dessert and brunch. -Really nice service. Both waiters we had were really cordial, present to help, and took time to do a little extra. -Not over expensive for the quality. The brunch buffet is 22$ alone, or 30$ if you want to add a plate. I recommend it. -It’s the only good looking and tasty restaurant in the big area. -You can enter from within the Hotel Cache du Lac Champlain (which I do not recommend) -They don’t have a huge menu, but it’s enough options and it’s not basic. -They have space for big groups too. -They created a nice ambiance and decor.

Cons: -There’s no specific view from the restaurant. If you’re close to the window, you see mainly the cars in the parking lot, and a bit of the lake.

Note: -I recommend to book a table as it’s the only good restaurant in the area, and many...

We had our wedding dinner and next day breakfast here and we couldn’t be happier . The service, beautiful artistic presentation, generous portion size, quality of food and delectable taste experience of each dish was superb! Our guests were extremely impressed and enjoyed every morsel. As well, they will be talking about this amazing wedding meal for years to come. My sister in law being a gourmet chef thought it was one of the best meals of her life and that is extremely high praise coming from her . I’d also like to add that given the attention to detail and proportion of each meal, the price was surprisingly affordable. Given the same quality , I would expect to pay a lot more in the city of Toronto. My family enjoyed their time there so much, they may plan to return to the quaint and sweet area for a summer vacation. Thanks to all the staff at Le Greg .. it contributed to the most wonderful end to our...

We loved our experience at Le Greg Bistro & Bar. We were staying at the hotel, spent some time at the spa, and felt the logical decision was to make a late dinner reservation at Le Greg afterward. We're so glad we did! The table d'hote is very reasonably priced considering the volume and quality of food. Everything was five-star, from the ambiance, to the service (our waiter was excellent and even customized our drinks), to the food presentation and taste! If you're on the fence, let this be your sign to book the dinner and treat yourself! :)

We had a great dinner at Le Greg bistro and returned the next evening. The service was very good, and they had a good wine and cocktail list. Everything was perfect, from the warm and crispy starter bread rolls, to the entrées and main dishes. We liked the Chair de homar (lobster), the slow cooked pork belly, and specially the octopus carpaccio entrées. Of the main dishes we best liked the rabbit leg with mustard sauce, and the Abadeche poêlé fish dish. All dishes were inventive and beautifully presented.
