Blasting music to break your timpant, the service was the WORST I’ve lived in my whole life. My GF ordered poutine général tao vegan and told the lady 3 times, no cheese please even if it’s vegan. We get the food and there is cheese. We call to let them know and the manager, told us angrily that it’s vegan cheese and that we had more then we paid for… THAT WAS NOT THE POINT, we did not received what we ordered and paid for. He offered us shots, but we don’t drink… he offered two beverage but I was eating (by the way the food was excellent I took Mac and cheese) but the point is she could not eat… We had to fight to get the right plate… very VERY bad experience, he did not acknowledge his mistake and got mad and repeated we got more then we asked… it was mental. Never going to this Gros Luxe 😂 Will send message to HQ also, this was unnaceptable, my gf almost cried because she felt she was bothering them, she was ready to NOT EAT the F?! This establishment should look into the people working there.

The lady made a mistake she was deeply sorry, but there was the manager with black long hair, a goatee and looked bothered af and gave us a hard time. Not a restaurant for vegans. I was really looking forward to the vegan food, and I was disappointed. I ordered the vegan poutine and the cheese tasted like pieces of garlic so I took out the pieces of vegan cheese. Just the fries with the gravy tasted good but in my opinion $13 for that was too expensive. Even my friends that ordered vegetarian or meat plates were disappointed (the burrito, meat burger, veggie burger & fish and chips is what others at my table ordered).

However, we all thought the people were friendly and we absolutely loved the fried avocado! So if you are in the mood to have a unique and delicious appetizer then I would give...

In a desert with not so many vegan options L’Gros Luxe really shines like a diamond! They have vegan meats, vegan cheese, vegan burgers, and even vegan poutine. Many places will just offer you a veggie sandwich but still layer it on with mayonnaise (still has egg), but L’Gros Luxe has a full vegan menu, actually!
