Stopped here while we were out touring waiting for our check in time. I wasn't too pleased with the lobster poutine. There was a VERY small amount of lobster and the sauce was almost nonexistent. So really I paid 17.99 for waffle fries, not impressed. I've had much better. My boyfriend had fried shrimp and the handcut fries. Shrimp was great and I hate to say it but the fries were not good and usually we love fresh fries. Service was fast and very friendly and it's a nice spot right near the old lighthouse hence why I...

The service was good.

The clam chowder was not very creamy and did not have a lot of clams or the taste of clams. Overall it was very bland even after adding tons of salt. The fried clams were over cooked and mostly tasted like fried batter. The fries seemed home made but little more than potatoes dropped into hot oil: they were not blanched. These were the only dishes that seemed local. The rest of the menu seemed to be similar to prepared cafeteria food. Its ok if you need a bite to eat but it is certainly not a...

We tried this restaurant near the end of April while visiting Nova Scotia. Tucked in behind a variety store in Walton we weren't so sure. The place was empty except for one patron and the wonderful lady who took our orders, cooked and served us some pretty good pub foods in honestly quite a timely fashion for a one woman show (orders ranged from a chicken Caesar salad, donairs, grilled cheese, BLT, fish and chips, and fried clams). Never caught her name but she made sure you felt welcome and you were well fed....

A very interesting spot in a very small town. We met the owner who happened to be our waitress and she also happened to be the cook for that day. Busy lady but didn’t affect her service at all. We both had fish and chips with a side of gravy and a local beer.

Great food, especially the burgers. Good sample of local craft beers available. Atmosphere inside was fun but also historical, nice scenic views outside as well. Go visit if you can Covid has taken its toll on many small family run businesses like this one.
