The clam chowder was not very creamy and did not have a lot of clams or the taste of clams. Overall it was very bland even after adding tons of salt. The fried clams were over cooked and mostly tasted like fried batter. The fries seemed home made but little more than potatoes dropped into hot oil: they were not blanched. The place was empty except for one patron and the wonderful lady who took our orders, cooked and served us some pretty good pub foods in honestly quite a timely fashion for a one woman show (orders ranged from a chicken Caesar salad, donairs, grilled cheese, BLT, fish and chips, and fried clams).
