Stopped here while we were out touring waiting for our check in time. I wasn't too pleased with the lobster poutine. There was a VERY small amount of lobster and the sauce was almost nonexistent. So really I paid 17.99 for waffle fries, not impressed. I've had much better. My boyfriend had fried shrimp and the handcut fries. The clam chowder was not very creamy and did not have a lot of clams or the taste of clams. Overall it was very bland even after adding tons of salt. The fried clams were over cooked and mostly tasted like fried batter. The fries seemed home made but little more than potatoes dropped into hot oil: they were not blanched. We tried this restaurant near the end of April while visiting Nova Scotia. Tucked in behind a variety store in Walton we weren't so sure. The place was empty except for one patron and the wonderful lady who took our orders, cooked and served us some pretty good pub foods in honestly quite a timely fashion for a one woman show (orders ranged from a chicken Caesar salad, donairs, grilled cheese, BLT, fish and chips, and fried clams). Never caught her name but she made sure you felt welcome and you were well fed....
