The food was ok and not over priced but the young lady working the dining room was the most rude person I've met in a long time. We showed up to an empty dining room and she waved at a table at the end and proclaimed "sit down there". When she brought our drink order she plopped two cans of soda at my wife and SIL, no glass with ice or no straw. So in every restaurant you've ever eaten at and got refills of soda don't expect them here. You buy it by the can:(. Well maybe if you're eating a hotdog off the rollers at a Loves travel station it goes this way but not any sit down restaurant I've ever eaten at. We ordered an appetizer and evidently that means bring it out while 1/2 the order is being served. So while my brother, wife and myself ate our meals my SIL had to eat the appetizer and wait quite a bit for her meal. After we had eaten we waited politely for our check that never showed up. As she passed we asked for our check and she snidely proclaimed that all we had to do was go up to the cash register to pay. Well it was kinda of news to us, since she hadn't informed us of this at any time. When we got to the register an elderly lady was having trouble with their point of sale machine. It was one of those credit machines that are very small with extremely small print. The lady couldn't make out the words or determine what buttons to press. The hostess/waitress had zero patience and was almost screaming at her as to which buttons to press to grant a tip and finish the transaction. The elderly lady finally gave up and turned the machine towards her and said "do it yourself". As far as I know she charged the lady a 200% tip. They have this big lexan sheild up between the register and the customers which makes it very hard for people to hear. Especially when a salty hostess is yelling at the customers in a quick voice. Honestly I'm a tech savvy guy and their point of sale machine sucks.
If you live in the area and have a little money and drive open a diner and run these folks out...
Read moreUdatw oct 16: its lunchtime on a Wednesday and inordered a large veggie pizza. A little pricey but average for the area here i guessw.... and honestly... im not gonna lie, this might be THE BEST PIZZA I ever had. And I don't usually like thinner crusts but this crust is amazing! Ingredients are so fresh and the cheese isn't some cheap blend, it's straight up real mozza with some.old cheddar on top. It easily cracks my top 3, if not #1. And I've tried literally 100's of places all over this country !!
Ok , so I went in on a Saturday night (Thanksgiving weekend) so its pretty quiet inside. I ordered the veg burger with a side soup, as well as a "greek salad".
it's all the standard pre-prepped food off the grocery truck you'd find at any smal down quickie Diner. But it was well prepared and tasted great
My biggest complaint was the seating.... the place they clearly did themselves, home done but it looks.really nice and I like the cleanliness and looks of the interior. BUT THE SEATING IS uncomfortable as hell!! No c4ushion or padding. Just bare wood, even the chairs, no cushion to them.
The service was... okay... it was polite...
Read moreThe service in the bar is great considering they never schedule a server, which they need on Friday nights. The food is mediocre except for the wings are great, just don’t get them sauced or they turn soggy right away. Lemon pepper is my recommendation. The Filipino food is good too. The management never let us turn the music up in the bar, which is super annoying. Stop renting out the room above the bar ffs, with the cost of your drinks, I’m pretty sure we are outspending the hotel room. If there was anywhere else to go we would. No shade to the staff, they’re awesome. I wish someone that has actually worked in service would run the business tho...
