We had dinner at David’s last Friday evening and it was an extremely disappointing experience. We were a party of six family members and arrived to discover that the restaurant could not find our reservation. After a few minutes, we were seated at a booth. When it came time to order, my sister and I both ordered Seafood Cioppino Pasta while another sister ordered Seafood Risotto. The pasta dishes arrived with exactly two mussels, two littleneck clams and one shrimp on a bed of pasta with a some sort of bland tomato sauce. The risotto was grey and soggy with a similar variety and quantity of seafood. In both cases, it appeared that the seafood came from a frozen seafood mix, rather than being fresh and locally sourced, which is what we expected for this type of restaurant on the North Shore of PEI.
The only positive comment that I can make is that or server was lovely, very professional but obviously run off her feet.

The food was excellent (appetizers of crab cakes and chowder, main of seafood pasta and halibut with forbidden rice) - expertly prepared and very nice presentation as well.
