Freshslice Pizza — Restaurant in West Vancouver

Tonight, my family and I went to FreshSlice Pizza on Marine Drive in West Vancouver to buy pizza. The shop was crowded, and the tables and chairs were very dirty. My son and I stood in line while my wife and other son waited on the sidewalk. When it was our turn, I ordered three slices of beef, three slices of pepperoni, and two slices of chicken.

When it came time to pay, the cashier, Aryam, said he would only count three slices at the promotional price and the rest at the regular price. He had done the same to the customer ahead of us, who also protested. When I mentioned that there were four of us and we should be able to buy eight slices at the promotional price, Aryam responded with a rude and bitter attitude. When I told him that his behavior was unacceptable and that I would report it to his manager, he arrogantly replied that he didn't care and I could tell whoever I wanted. I wanted to inform the management of FreshSlice Pizza that a bad and rude salesman can change regular customers’ opinions of your brand. I don't love pizza, most times I don't even like pizza. However my friend wanted to have a picnic in the park and really wanted pizza.

So I headed off to a place called Fresh Slice Pizza. The ladies working would have their work cut out trying to appease me. Lactose intolerant and gluten free is where we had to start.

Well the ladies were like magic. Lactose problem? No problem, we have a solution. Gluten problem? No problem, we have a solution. 10 minutes later we created a pizza for me. Who knew, this was possible? Definitely not me, the pizza non-lover.

Collected the pizza and napkins, thanked the ladies profusely and off to the park, I headed.

My friend and I gobbled down this delicious round, crusty, cooked to perfection treat.

I appreciated the cauliflower dough, dairy free cheese, chicken and onions on a thin crust; its wasn't thick and doughy at all. I really really liked this chance find.

The pizza itself was flawless—fresh out of the oven, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. The ambiance of the location was warm, clean, and welcoming, making it a comfortable and pleasant spot even late at night.
